Rylie was such a joy. We where blessed to get the seats outside as someone left and we ordered 2 smash burgers with beer and it was fabulous. The burgers were wonderful, the fries where crisp and delicious. Absolutely well priced and worth every penny. Highly recommend stopping in for drinks and burgers if your in the area. Thanks so much Rylie for being such a pleasant and joyful person.

Cute local spot in beautiful downtown Port Hope. The service was fast and friendly and the food was fresh. Good portions, good flavor, and lots of variety on the menu.

The soup was excellent and hearty.
The fish and chips were not as good.
The fish was a bit greasey and the fries were plane.
Overall it was a very nice place and will go back and try other menu options.

BLOWN AWAY BY THIS PLACE!!!

Service? AMAZING! We had two servers checking in on us who were both so lovely, friendly, and brought all the good vibes.

The food? INCREDIBLE! The absolute best pub food I have had in years, I had a chicken sandwich and my partner had a burger, the mix of flavours on everything was just perfection! They also had a wide variety of beer and cocktails! Something for everyone :)

The atmosphere? SO MUCH FUN! The goose paintings everywhere, a hidden staircase behind a bookshelf, lots of things to look at! Plus a fantastic musician playing.

Highly recommend this spot if you're in Port Hope!

Good food and service!

Horrible fish and chips which is a pretty basic meal for a pub.
But a pub is a pub so I recommend drinking not eating. Very unhappy with an $80 bill for a bite of fish and one onion ring😔

I recently stopped by *The Thirsty Goose*, and I have to say—it was a fantastic experience. If you're into great beer at even better prices, this place delivers. Their selection is impressive, with a wide variety of brews to suit every taste, from crisp lagers to bold IPAs.

The service was spot-on: fast, friendly, and accurate. No waiting around or mix-ups—just smooth, efficient hospitality. I visited around noon, and it was surprisingly quiet, which made for a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for a midday pint or catching up with a friend without the usual bar buzz.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, *The Thirsty Goose* is definitely worth a visit. Cheers to good beer and good vibes!

What a nice little find right in the middle of town. While we didn't eat here the drinks we good.
The seltzer as well as the Origin of Darkness Bourbon-Barrel Aged Old Fashioned Imperial Stout (11.9%) was sooooo smooth!

We ordered the buffalo chicken dip and fish and chips, both were tasty and pieces of fish were huge. Great quantity for the price.

Came here for my dads birthday, it wasn’t very busy on a Sunday at noon but we had yummy mushroom caps and fried pickles to start which we all finished so quickly, and the food was amazing! My brother said it was the best Mac n cheese he’s had (aside from our dad’s cooking ofc) pricing is appropriate and the quality of food was great! Always love service with a smile too! Didn’t catch her name but very glad we came!
