I have been to Castle John’s quite a few times now as it is my favourite place to eat in Port Perry. The food is always insanely good and the staff are some of the most down to earth/nice people you’ll ever meet. A few items on the menu that are 10/10 in my opinion would be 1. Their Bruschetta, 2. Their french onion soup (I get it every single time i’m there) 3. Their mac n cheese (with lobster) and 4. Their crab cakes. Amazing food, amazing service and an overall amazing experience, I will definitely be coming back to this location.

Great wings, Buffalo-sized!!! Lots of choices on the menu.

Service was Outstanding. Rachel our server was great very personable and attentive to our group. Food was excellent, Fish tacos the best I've had anywhere. Huge portion sizes. We will definitely be going back next time we're in Port Perry.

I gotta say I was a little shocked at my take out order today, I usually order deep fried mushrooms and eat in with my husband and today I thought I’m in the area I’ll grab some deep fried mushrooms and when I got them home there were 12 in this big box that I paid $13 for, so that’s more than a dollar a mushroom!! I know times are tough but come on what a rip off!!

Went to pick up my takeout and my food has been given to another person. I know mistakes happen, and this is NOT the reason why I'm leaving this review. Poor customer service because:
1. They immediately charged me even though there was no food for pick up, they gave me ZERO discount, and the machine had no option to give anything less than 15% tip.
2. They tell me it's going to take 5 min, which was a lie because it took 15min, so instead of being honest and letting me plan my time and potentially come back later, I have to be sitting there waiting.
3. Coincidentally, there was soccer game happening and the atmosphere sucked with drunk dudes making comments and trying to be "friendly".
The food is good, but the way the reacted to a mistake they made literally tells you they don't care about their customers. They will charge you first thing, give you no discounts, and keep lying about time to keep you there. I almost left and asked for a refund, but didn't want to create distress for others waiting on the food as well.
It doesn't matter if they are friendly and talk to you, the actions speak more than words in my opinon.

Grabbed lunch on the way through town, and we were glad we did! The food was exceptional, and the service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
