“First time there for lunch on Saturday. The owner and his wife were absolutely delightful, originally from Sri Lanka. The food was amazing, I had the kottu roti with mutton, great spice level.I have more dishes I want to try!”

This Owner has lied about my review content on Google Maps review (their response to my review, sent to my email also. I only called 2, 3 times, not constantly. I called this business for a specialty product, asking important questions before commuting far to buy their expensive, unguaranteed fresh, unguaranteed quality product, unguaranteed quality, high service). In this Owner's review response to my review, about me calling them for product & service, this owner lies by misusing, abusing the legal term: harrassment. According to a Lawyer & a Paralegal, that is not harrassment what she classifies it. She lacks discernment to differentiate true & lie definitions of words, of this word. My definition & examples of Customer words are listed in the 3rd, 4th paragraph of this message.Me, a canadian citizen, a potential customer of both of their businesses. I have erased my review for my protection. This business owner can mind only their business go their way & I will go my way, away from canadian businesses & support businesses in other parts of their world who merit my $$$.This Owner seems to allow their emotions to dictate them & then seeks revenge to me as I am expecting respectful, kind, caring, patient, helpful service from her higher standard businesses. She has negative perception of me. Is she a Narcissist? Research this personality type & you determine this for yourself. I don't have any more patience for Canadian businesses. I am leaving. I experienced the most terrible retail experiences in canada these past 4 years to date than I have ever in my entire life. It's not worth living in canada. I deserve much better in life. As a Moral man, I do not deserve this repression, condescension, trouble from people of commerce in canada, even from citizens. I seek quality everything in my life.It seems like canadian business owners, managers, employees much lack empathy, much lack understanding of customers' words & customers' negative experiences with businesses in Canada. Eg. Customer words: opinion, feedback, expressing their frustration about their hardship with businesses' employees unequal customer service & informing businesses customers' needs & informing businesses customers' higher standards: (eg. time with customer, ordering fresh products, providing product information...& honesty). Customers are expecting high quality products & services & are testing the businesses before they support them & overpay them, pay high price their products & service.Canadians have no respect, to say the least, for business owners, managers, employees who go against canadian citizens, canadian customers, with revenge, accusations, profiling: & which business owners...managers try to be powerful, dominate, controlling or to try to be above everyone else & attack, seek revenge, attack citizens because customers tell owners, managers their opinion, their needs, their expectations, their feedback, their requests & or show businesses their reflection (showing them a, their mirror).”

“My personal favorite in port perry, book ahead on the weekend because this place fills up as the food, drinks and staff are amazing.Parking: Limited parking at the front but plenty of parking at the side.”

“Wow. Jinju Sushi provided one of the best sushi lunches I have had in a LONG time. The rolls were well flavoured and the tempura was light. Our meal started with an excellent miso soup.The portion size was VERY generous. My meal, tea, taxes and tip came to a reasonable $25. If you ever find yourself in Port Perry Jinju Sushi is not to be missed! One small warning though. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you. The food is carefully prepared and individually hand crafted. This takes time! So sit back and enjoy some tea and conversation.”

“Hi, I am the owner of this restaurant and I manage this business profile however, Google will not help me verify this account so I must respond to other reviews in this format. There are two separate two-star reviews on here that are incorrectly posted on this restaurants page. The older one describes a restaurant down the street called saffron which does shawarma on the spit, which we clearly don't do and the second is of a restaurant on water Street that has a patio open which we do not until May 1st every year. This is quite frustrating as these are terrible reviews that have nothing to do with our business. I just felt like a response was necessary as my ones Global Bistro and the poor social are two of the best eating establishments in Durham with amazing atmosphere, service and exceptional food.”

“Absolutely loved it! My dad took my partner and I out on Friday to grab a drink and listen to the live music. The music, staff, drinks and atmosphere were all amazing! We made a few friends and had a little dance party. We will definitely be back next time we are in Port Perry! Thanks guys!”

“Nice little cafe across the road from the lake in downtown Port Perry.Decor is a little tired and space is at a premium. Prices are quite reasonable.Very nice light menu, good food quality, and friendly staff help to explain why this small restaurant is so popular.Limited space and slightly restricted hours (our visit was in early March) make a reservation a good idea.The bake shop has some really nice items, but the cafe couldn't/wouldn't provide *any* bags, so it's pretty inconvenient if you want more than a single item to eat in your hand.Definitely worth a visit.”

“OMG good!Thai food is one of my favourite foods and this place is the best I have ever had. I used to live in TO and have tried a lot of places. Chaopaya In Barrie used to be the best for me as far as authentic and flavour.. until I had port perry Thai. Wow the flavour profile is out of this world. It is a real treat for our small area to have such a wonderful restaurant with food qualities that are unmatched. Keep in mind this is a small family run restaurant with no dine in option but if you want to treat your taste buds, the. Look no further. They are worried about the price but it is well worth it. I recently had Thai from another restaurant in Whitby ( as I couldn’t get ahold of these guys) and it cost more and was smaller portion sizes with less quality ingredients. Can’t say more about the food here. Just so you know I am happily eating it right now so this review is fresh.”
