Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill

This is the third Chuck's Roadhouse I've visited in Ontario this year, so I have a bit of reference point.

Every Chuck's burger I've eaten has been great. Service is generally above average. Our waitress was Jolene and she's pretty enough yo have inspired Dolly Parton's song. 😆

The washrooms and restaurant are clean. The decor and atmosphere is appropriate, but not excessive.

The one thing that sticks out about this location in Port Perry is that the water tastes swamps, like algae.

If you go as the solution is dropping, make sure you don't sit facing it. The blinds are transparent and it was uncomfortable on the eyes.

There is lots of parking and the location is easily accessible.

We really enjoy Chucks, food is great, prices wait staff! We go 2-3 times per month!

We usually love Chucks, but this one in Port Perry Ontario was not as good as many of the others. The food was good, but it's sometimes the little things. My chicken fingers were quite small. My gravy was only half full and my husband's wings and fingers had very little sauce in them. When we commented, the server brought more gravy and a dish of bbq sauce to dip in, but who wants to be that person who complains. Just do it correctly in the first place. I will probably avoid this location although I still like the brand.

My family and I have passed this restaurant many times on our way up through Port Perry. This evening we arrived after 7pm and left around 8:30. We asked to be seated on the patio. My husband and I ordered one of their sizzle platters, each with a side of mashed potatoes, my kids had the chicken fingers. As an appetizer, we had the cheese sticks. The drinks arrived promptly, the cheese sticks after that. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. No one came to pick up our appetizer plate, nor did our server communicate the delay. Finally a male server came to deliver our sizzle platters. Nothing else. No cutlery, no sides, no food for our kids. I asked a waitress who was cleaning tables what was up. She went to ask our waitress who I could see through the patio window seemed confused. Our cutlery then arrived. Along with the kids food. Several minutes later, our sides arrived. When it came time to pay, I refused to tip. A tip is deserved when you actually do your job. I wrote a note on the receipt I left at the table. The waitress needs to learn from this. Management needs to train better. And people need to stop tipping unless a server does their job and does it well.

We had a great time. The food was fresh and delicious. The server was professional, attentive and patient. We left with a wonderful feeling of being genuinely cared for. I highly recommend Chuck's Roadhouse.I promise that you won't be disappointed!

If you find yourself in Port Perry and hungry, looking for familiarity and fine service. Then for as long as the server Darren is on shift, you would be hard-pressed indeed to find better service anywhere else.

Accomodating to the letter of your specification and beyond, provided you treat the man with respect as he is deserving of it.

I was torn between two entrées and he advised me true to a dish that I will not forget for a long time to come. It was so good, I had to get another to go!

Service is terrible here. Called for takeout order and was put on hold for 5 minutes and promptly forgotten about. Hire some staff that actually want to work and care about their job. Food is like any other chucks. Don’t expect to have good service if you come here. Deserving of this 1 star for sure.

Ps. @owner if you’re gonna reply with the same crappy blurb about emailing my receipt and stuff, I don’t have one because I couldn’t order. Save your energy and time for running your restaurant tighter and hiring better staff. After all these 1 stars and poor reviews, you should be trying to improve. If you can’t do that maybe consider selling your business to someone who will DO BETTER.

I ordered wings. MCDONALD'S UP THE ROAD. The chicken Mcnuggets are bigger. By size
Our waitress was overwhelmed on her side with only her working. While the other side of the restaurant the two staff member just stood there.
Not sure what the rules are here. With the servers.
But I wouldn't recommend anyone coming to this Place in Port Perry.
