Don’t get the pizza. Undercooked and with weird cheese. Sparse toppings. Our friends got the margarita pizza and it came out with oily cheddar cheese no mozzarella or basil on it. Other food looked ok.

This used to be my favourite lunch spot until I had a bad encounter. I used to drag my boyfriend here almost every other weekend (coming from the gta) and we would get a pasta and a pizza to eat, and cocktails to drink. I even brought my mom up here for mother’s day and we had an amazing date! The service has never been 100% perfect but I understand we are all human and make mistakes!
Unfortunately there was one day where me and my boyfriend had gone up, and we didn’t get our regular server. We tried to order drinks but I had lost my wallet 2 days prior so I didn’t have any Id with me. The server told us that she wouldn’t be able to sever us drinks which we responded with “completely understandable, don’t worry!”. As this was a fault on my end, but what can you do!
After this the server came to our table only once, in the span of an hour, to bring our food that has already taken much longer than usual to be ready. The food was already cold once it had come to us, and after this we had to get up and ask for the bill as she did not stop by at all. When she handed me the machine to pay, she did not say a word and did not even say a simple “thank you, have a great day”. I’m not too sure what we did to offend her, but this experience made sure that we never came back.
What a shame!

Hello, we had a wedding rehearsal dinner here on October 3, 2024. Nish made a set menu for us which included a three course meal with dessert added as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks. There were three different plates to choose from for each course. The food was amazing, service was fantastic and everyone raved about the food. Everyone had a great time. Thank you to Nish and his crew for making it a memorable evening.

We moved to port perry a little over a year ago. Been to the restaurant maybe 4 - t times. I am pretty sure we had pizza at least one of those times.
We ordered the spicy sausage Pizza. The dough was not what i expected. It almost had that cracker pizza consistency. There was way too much cheese on it an the cheese looked really runny and oily in consistency which led us to believe it was not mozzarella.
Maybe its me bit but expected a good neopolitan pizza crust made with 00 flour nice crust and thin with good crumb.
Also fruit flies were awful. We had to keep coasters on our wine glasses. And cork in the bottle.

We recently hosted a large family gathering at this Italian restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it perfect for our event.
We started with some incredible appetizers—the fried calamari, which even had jumbo shrimp, was a hit with everyone. The Arancini balls were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the bruschetta was fresh and delicious.
When it came to the main courses, everyone was thoroughly impressed. The entrees were served in a timely fashion, with the kids' meals arriving first, which made things much easier for the parents. Whether you’re craving pasta, seafood, or something classic, they truly have something for everyone, especially with their Italian twist bar menu. Every dish was cooked to perfection.
The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to host our family get-together. Highly recommend for any large gathering or special occasion!

Server gave us a set of wet quarter plates. On requesting change of plates, he said that they came straight out of dishwasher and the next set of plates will look the same.
Not sure if he was arrogant or if he does not care about his job.
Please avoid and spend your hard money at a better place?

We went out for my belated birthday dinner. Our first choice was The Foundry but it was booked solid. We had never been to Ciao Bella so it was quite handy to where we were. It looked lovely, very clean but deserted. We both ordered appetizers and two drinks. The waiter brought my bruchetta but not my wife's. She was asked first but he didn't think she had ordered any appetizer. She told him not to bother. My bruchetta was not very pleasant to say the least. My main course was a steak medium rare. My first clue was trying to saw into it. After succeeding, it was so tough I could hardly chew it. Well done leather was a fair description. I mentioned it to a friend who eats out a lot and she said that's why it's so deserted.
Bottom of our restaurant list.

One of my fav restaurants of all time. My mom ordered spaghetti and I ordered ???? Gnocchi and garlic bread. The gnocchi was a 10/10 level of delicious and the garlic bread made medieval times garlic bread taste like s(insert rest of the word here).

The staff are really nice and the view of the lake is amazing from the patio. The only complaint I have is that the food was too salty. I ordered a 10 ounce burger with soup on the side both were extremely salty. I informed the waiter of the issue and they offered to make a new burger as the soup is premade. The second burger was just as salty and the patties were burnt. At that point, my party already finished their food so there was no point in asking for a 3rd burger, not that I wanted to anyways. Needless to say, the staff is not at fault here it is the chef who needs to be a little light handed with his salt. Surprisingly the truffle fries did not have enough salt on them but they were good.
Kid-friendliness: There were kids in the restaurant and on the patio, they had baby chairs too

I was part of a group that recently dined at Ciao Bella, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to our expectations. The service was really slow, and we waited far longer than we should have for our food and drinks. When the food finally arrived, several dishes were way too salty, which made them pretty hard to enjoy.
One of the biggest disappointments was the prosciutto in a panini—it had clearly gone bad, which was surprising and unpleasant. There was also an issue with a seafood pasta dish at our table that came without the requested sauce. Although the staff tried to make it right by offering a 50% discount on the pasta, by the time the mistake was fixed, the rest of us had already finished our meals, so it didn’t really help the situation much.
Overall, no one at our table was impressed with the food, and the terrible-tasting water even made the sodas taste off. Despite the staff's attempt to fix things, the combination of poor food quality and service left us all disappointed. We all agreed that this review needed to be shared to reflect what happened.
