Worst dq in the GTA. Poor management. Sour icecream

Truly a bad representation of DQ. I could go into details but it seems every other review beat me to it. 🤣 Trust me, they are all valid. I'm not sure why there is such a discrepancy between other locations and this one. Lots of great other options for icecream in town. Skip this spot

Unfortunately, I would have to agree with Christy Kowalczyk in all points of her review. From the heat in the store to the rudeness of the staff. Our recent experience there would not encourage us to continue to supporting this shop. This Dairy Queen does not represent Port Perry as a great tourist destination.

If you are looking for best onion rings try dq. Always like them. If you are in a hurry you will be disappointed. They cool when you place order.

Your store doesn’t even deserve 1 star. There should be an 0 option. After my recent visit to your establishment, I feel compelled to express my deep concern regarding the state of your restaurant. Based on my experience — and supported by the numerous critical reviews online — it is evident that significant issues are being neglected.

Cleanliness: The dining area was visibly dirty, with unclean tables and floors. The bathrooms were in a state of disrepair and unacceptable condition for any public facility.
Food Safety: I witnessed questionable food handling practices by staff, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety.
Air Conditioning: The lack of functional air conditioning in the restaurant is a health and safety issue — especially for both staff and customers during peak summer heat.
Customer Service: The overall service was poor, and staff appeared disengaged and unprofessional.
Food Quality: The food served was of very low quality and did not match the descriptions or expectations set.
Given these issues, I believe it would be in your best interest as a manager to thoroughly review your Google reviews — not to dismiss them with generic responses, but to genuinely identify areas needing improvement.
I am in the process of reporting my concerns to the Durham Region Health Department for further inspection. Public safety and cleanliness standards must be met and enforced.

I hope you treat this feedback with the seriousness it warrants.

This may ve the worst DQ I have ever eatin at. The fries were stale like they had been under a warmer since opening, the burger was a positive vetter then mcdonalds at least overall. We didnt get frozen dessert because well why would anyone get frozen dessert when there is actual ice cream down the street. I have eatin at other DQs over the years and have always enjoyed the food they make but not here.

EDIT: you can tell just by the cookie cutter response you don't care you can tell by your reviews you don't listen DQ should have higher standards in who they allow to run there stores

Food I received was not great. 😊. Was just going through the reviews. Just out of curiosity, but it’s not much different. This is it for DQ in Port Perry. Better go to a McDonalds and get food from there.

Got chicken strip basket and the fries taste like they were from yesterday and got reheated couldn’t even eat them . Chicken strips were decent , was going to grab a box of dilly bars or busters but the prices on those and cakes is insane at this location , long story short this place is the worst Dairy Queen ever
