Hank's Pastries is a gem of a bakery located right in the heart of Port Perry, known for their delicious treats such as eclairs, butter tarts, apple fritters, special donuts, and hot dog buns. The pastries have a delightful taste, making them the best some have ever had. Their donuts are huge and so good, with quite the selection. The apple fritters are some of the biggest seen, and one customer highly recommends trying at least one of these if visiting Scugog. The chicken popper was hot and delicious and melted in the mouth. The chocolate eclair was like a world-class calibre sugar trip. They have Ontario's only butter tart doughnut, which was large and amazing. The cinnamon buns are uniquely delicious, and one customer expressed that their search for a similar taste to their Grandmother's cinnamon buns has finally ended at Hank's. The service is friendly, with staff being kind and welcoming, which enhances the cozy vibe of the bakery. While there are no places to sit and dine in, the clean and aromatic environment makes for a pleasant take-out experience. The line ups go very quickly, making it a lovely spot to stop by when in Port Perry.
