Located right in the heart of Port Perry, this bakery has such a cute atmosphere and a cozy vibe. There’s a great selection of freshly baked items, many of them beautifully wrapped and ready to take home. We picked up a few pastries to enjoy later, and while there weren’t any apple pies that day, the pastries we tried were still delicious.

The staff were kind and welcoming, which made the visit even better. A lovely spot to stop by when in Port Perry!

The coffee is delicious and the maple glazed apple fritter is the best!

We purchased 2 lemon filled donuts, yum, 2 fritters, way too sweet as they were flatten too much before frying, and pretzel bagels which we haven't tried yet.
My low score is because they did not have doors on the product display cases, leaving them susceptible to flying insects.

For me the pastries are overrated and too sweet but it's a nice bakery.

I searched for years to find a cinnamon bun similar in taste to those my Grandmother baked. At last, I found them at Hank's! The quality of the bread, the cinnamon...uniquely delicious! Scrumptious! My search has ended!

I've only had the apple fritters here. Great. The review is only based on that single item. If youre in Scugog, then I recommend dropping in too try at least 1 of these.

Bump into this pastry because we are craving something sweet. Highly recommend portuguese tart and their chocolate donut! And definitely will come again, maybe help them to take pretty picture ^^

We visited Port Perry for the first time to try Hanks and it didn't disappoint! The shop was cute and busy, but the employees were on the ball. We were in and out of there quickly. I loved how close the shop was to the water. We got our treats and then ate outside and enjoyed the waterfront. Highly recommend!

I hadn't been to Hanks in a long time. I was in the area last weekend and dropped in for cinnamon buns, which were lovely. I also got 6 fern tarts, which the filling was dry -needs more jam, and 6 pecan butter tarts, which the pastry was hard. Very disappointing, not to mention quite expensive.

We bought some day old cinnamon buns. They were great after we reheated in the microwave for 30 seconds on power level 6.
