My partner and I went to celebrate our special birthday night (we have the same birthday!) and Marwan’s was the perfect place for a classy, yet comfortable date night. The atmosphere was delightful, great lighting, and not too loud or crowded. The food was so so so delicious and was prepared quickly! The service was excellent, super kind and friendly employees. We love Marwan’s and will be back for sure!!
Went there for Sunday lunch. 1st going to a bistro which offers so many types of cuisine (Indian, Thai, Italian, ..) and happily surprised. Had shrimp linguine, butter chicken and mushroom crepes. Linguine was good, but expensive ($30). Butter chicken, although differentl from usual Indian restaurant was very tasty. Crepe was OK but probably what I liked the least. Seems it was pan-fried. Ended up $84 for 3 mains (before tip)
We have been here a couple of times and initially loved their variety of dishes and level of service. However, on the last two occasions the service had deteriorated significantly. When the restaurant gets busier, there are not enough staff to meet the demand. The wait time for dishes was long and they completely forgot about one person’s desert.
We had to initiate leaving the restaurant to get attention and a bill. It is obvious that there is a workforce planning issue...
