I had great service from Sutherland today. He was so kind to my kids and myself. I was also able to watch him interact with all the others that came, including some elderly, and he took the time to talk with everyone, putting a smile on their face and providing fast service. It was really nice to see and made my day!

i swear this is the only good mcdonald’s left. you guys are great and the only location i go to. staff is phenomenal, especially the morning staff. it’s really annoying having to go to another location to get coffee because they can never do it like yall. pls don’t ever change the staff! thanks for all your hard work 😁

They mess up your order more often then is is correct. Multiple occasions I will make sure to that it is correct, had the person at the window look at the screen (not in the bag) confirm it’s correct and then it’s not. They also at least half the time want you to pull into a space and wait for your order. If I wanted to wait for my order to be delivered to my car I would have placed a mobile order….. I use the “drive thru” with the expectation that I will get my food and “drive thru” not park and wait while they serve other people behind me. As I type this I’m waiting and can see that they over charged me $0.80 in total for some of my food. Not worth getting out of the car for but the service here is craptacular

Sadly, this is the only McDonalds my area (Port Perry, ON) and occasionally I take my granddaughter through the drive through for take out. The past 4 times I’ve gone through, the order has wrong—they don’t know the difference between the chicken sandwiches they sell—they forget the essentials like napkins, ketchup and plum sauce for nuggets. Every single time I’ve had to circle back at the drive through to ask either for the rest of my order, or, condiments and napkins. I don’t know who trains these people. None of them are qualified to work drive-through and some can barely speak English! Today the order was wrong, one sandwich was missing, fries were cold, AND, I was overcharged. They are incompetent, to put it politely. They’re great at raising customers’ blood pressure though. That’s about it.

I understand they’re busy during dinner but the amount of errors in a single order was too much to ignore. I ordered extra onions and got none. I paid for extra side sauce and got none. The poutine I ordered wasn’t closed properly before being thrown in and got on the burger box below wet from the gravy and fries falling out. Poutine was very poorly made as well. 1 tiny spoon of gravy on the side that fell out and the rest normal fries I paid 3 extra dollars for. And unfortunately since it was a take out order I can’t get a replacement.
Worse experience ever waited over 30mintues in the drive thru for my mobile order. We had 3 orders total for one car and they forgot 2 burgers and 3 of the drinks and we didn't realize till we were on the way home ! We don't live in this town but worst experience ever ordering / waiting for the food. I've called your store multiple times tonight and no one answers

Literally the best MCDS I been to in Canada. Always fresh and always taste the best in the GTA. And the employees are so sweet ! Every one of them smile and are so gracious. Love this place. Everyone deserves a raise

I don’t know Southernland personally, but he genuinely makes it feel like I do. Every time I visit McDonald’s, he’s warm, welcoming, and consistently friendly. I used to eat at Subway frequently when he worked there, largely because of the exceptional service he provided. Once I realized he was working at the Port Perry McDonald’s, I found myself going there instead.
People like Southernland are the reason businesses thrive. His personality is infectious—he’s genuine, intelligent, and clearly hardworking. Employees like him create loyal customers and positive experiences that can’t be taught. Southernland is the type of person who should be in a leadership role, and talent like his can easily be lost if it isn’t recognized and valued.

Went last night, and I got to say... I received the most perfectly assembled big mac I've ever bought in my entire life...to the artist behind this masterpiece... BRAVO good sir, BRAVO!!!
