We come to Port Perry every summer for a visit. We stopped off here to have a rest and lunch. The food and service were excellent. The best item by far was the home made carrot cake. The best carrot cake I’ve ever had! The daughter of the owner who works there made the cake from her grandma’s recipe. You’ve got to try and let me know if you agree!

Such a cute little spot, with just the right amount of charm, and the staff were really friendly. I tried their Vanilla and Caramel latte and a pastry. Both were fresh and delicious. It’s the kind of place you can sit for a while and just enjoy.

A cosy, sandwich, and bakery goodie establishment, that we were willing to wait for a table outside for. The setting looking across the street at Lake Scugog was priceless, with folks walking by. I got a scone, gazpacho soup and a quiche, which I loved so much, that I forgot to take a pic to see its lovely look. My wife had a crustless quiche and salad as she is Gluten Free (celiac) They seemed a little short-staffed or at the end of their shift, but all the young staff were warm and accommodating. Definitely going back.

Nice cafe, good food choices, very busy and not alot of seat so it would be worth making a reservation. Next time I want to go for breakfast

We had tourtiere, garden salad and pecan butter tart. Tourtiere crust was light and flaky, filling was great, butter tart was wonderful. Owner was gracious and helpful. Fifteen out of ten.

What an absolute waste of money and time! The place was packed so I opted for takeout which was totally fine to do but the size of the sandwich and the quality of it for $15 plus tax was a total rip-off. They also did not have a majority of the items on the menu that are stated. The online website. A place that's open until 3:00 p.m. for bakery and brunch should at least have eggs. Total disappointment would never go back again

We wanted a hot breakfast and we received more than that. Their sconces were so good and freshly baked here. They have seasonal pies and jams as well. Our breakfast was good, the toast was amazing and our lovely waitress pointed that it’s made by a local bakery. The bacon was done right and also local plus coffee was so good. It’s so warm in there and the Staff was so wonderful. The lil patio is open. I highly enjoyed and recommend.

Let me start by saying the lady was nice serving us and the atmosphere there is good. Also, we have loved their food for years, but...

The food seems to be taking a dip. I ordered a wild West Salad and the shredded cheese was obviously from a bag (with that white powder coating). Also, my wife got the chicken club and the chicken they use is the chopped and formed stuff. It's the pre-formed and pre-cooked chicken (basically a big chicken nugget). It was inedible as it tasted fake. Hoping they aren't cutting food quality to save costs because that's the beginning of the end for a restaurant...

Even the ketchup they are buying is the lowest quality you can buy (Sauce Craft).

I’ve been frequent to the pantry for many years now and always had pleasant experience. Staff if prompt and polite and the food is incredible. Try the lasagna casserole it’s my go to. Keep up the good work!
