We come to Port Perry every summer for a visit. We stopped off here to have a rest and lunch. The food and service were excellent. The best item by far was the home made carrot cake. The best carrot cake I’ve ever had! The daughter of the owner who works there made the cake from her grandma’s recipe. You’ve got to try and let me know if you agree!
Such a cute little spot, with just the right amount of charm, and the staff were really friendly. I tried their Vanilla and Caramel latte and a pastry.Both were fresh and delicious. It’s the kind of place you can sit for a while and just enjoy.
A cosy, sandwich, and bakery goodie establishment, that we were willing to wait for a table outside for. The setting looking across the street at Lake Scugog was priceless, with folks walking by. I got a scone, gazpacho soup and a quiche, which I loved so much, that I forgot to take a pic to see its lovely look. My wife had a crustless quiche and salad as she is Gluten Free (celiac) They seemed a little short-staffed or at the end of their shift, but all the young staff were warm...
