Tres terrible. The view is great, the vibe on the patio was nice. Super cute date spot if only the food wasn't pure garbage. I ordered the chicken cutlet, it was dry frozen breaded that was chewy and rubber. There was some spring mix thrown the plate with a lemon. My friend got pasta, it was literally the consistency and taste of a frozen michelina's. The waitress was great, she was the only thing that saved the night. To call this place Italian is a disgrace. Shame on the chef and the owner!

Fantastic dinner. Food, ambiance, service, everything 5 star. Been to Italy several times and this spot transported us back to Venice. Don't listen to other negative reviewers complain about portions or prices...if you appreciate quality then you won't be disappointed.

We were at Riva today for lunch. This is a lovely new restaurant on the water in Port Stanley. Great views from the patio. Just a really nice vibe. It overlooks another great place the Inn on the Harbour where we have stayed several times.
We had a pasta dish and Lake Erie pan-fried pickerel which was absolutely delicious. But it was not enough food. Portions could be bigger especially the roast potatoes.
The highlight however of our visit was was our server Alyssa. She was engaging and humorous. And she had a little bit of sass which is always enjoyable. Next time we will definitely ask to be seated in her section.
The location is tremendous. The service is awesome. Such a welcome addition do the culinary adventures that await you in Port Stanley.
We highly recommend this restaurant add this lovely lakeside town.

Split the ribeye steak with my wife, the flavour was out of this world! The only complaint is lack of carb compliment. Caesar salad was delicious. Kids meals of penne with butter and parm were also excellent and doused with a butter equivalent you would get in France. Patio is covered and massive with a gorgeous view. Waitress was very friendly. Great experience.

I came on my boat, we arrived late, smelling kinda bad because the boat does not have a shower, they took us in, gave great food and even took some money out of our bill because they liked the group of us and were just very nice. I ordered the margarita pizza and it was the perfect size for a meal and was quite inexpensive. The place also has a great story about it, ask about the piano in the corner!

Food was very good. Compliments to the chef(s). Service was subpar…went for our 40th anniversary. Nothing special - dirty plates not cleaned. Refills on wine non existent. No real table service here unless you are a young woman. The staff and owner should watch a few episodes of the bear.
Wife and I went for our anniversary tonight. Though the food was good the service was not. Our server never once stopped by to see if we needed more drinks. I had to flagged him down to order and both times he forgot and it took 5-10 min to get another drink. My brother-in-law and sister each ordered drinks at the same time. He only brought my sister’s wine and my beer. When I asked where the other beer was from 5 mins ago he said “ I have to wait on the bartender it’s up to them”. He didn’t even know what beer they had in stock.
Very disappointed and will not be returning or recommending.

For spending $90, I would have expected to finish the food it was so good. The only good thing about this dining experience was being by the water and the espresso martinis. My girlfriend and I wish we got food from Tim hortons because while the plates looks good -the quality was at the level of tims. Bland and sad food.
Slapping the word “Italian” on a restaurant and putting zero effort into making the dishes taste authentic is shameful.

I was a bit worried to go for my mom's birthday because of all the recent negative reviews. But our experience was mostly positive!
We had booked indoor seating, but decided we wanted to sit outside on the patio last minute, and the staff did what they could to accommodate our last minute request which was very appreciated.
Atmosphere on the patio was nice, we found the music to be a bit loud, but that's our personal preference.
The service was very attentive despite all the reviews mentioning slow service. Our drinks, appetizers, and mains came out promptly at normal intervals. (We were a group of 7 people).
The food was unfortunately very lacklustre. We're foodies, who really enjoy tasty food, and we found the food very bland. The salads were pretty good, but the pizza could use a lot of work - just a general lack of flavour in the both the crust, sauce, and toppings. The arancini was probably the best thing we had, but it needed salt. We really enjoyed the fish and chips. We found the flavour of the food did not match the prices.
We had one vegan in our group, who was served a pizza with sauce and arugula on it as the only option, which was a let down.
If they could level up the food, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
