“A place I stop by every time I go to Port Stanley.The food tastes good, the price is reasonable, and the staff is friendly. There may not be any seats available during lunch time. I always buy frozen scones and use them in the air fryer.”

“The Harbour Merchant is adorable! The place itself is an old home turned into a cute coffee shop. They offer a good amount of seating and lots of choices on their menu.The staff was absolutely the sweetest and very attentive. I definitely recommend this coffee shop.”

“I spent the day in Port Stanley , and mostly at Pierside for the Beach Bum Burger day and Full Throttle band in the afternoon and then back for the Tom Petty Tribute band in the evening. “So nice to have such a unique dining option in our area. From the quality of the food to the top notch service and the exceptional attention to detail when it come to decor and atmosphere, you will never be disappointed. Always updating there menu in order to bring new seasonal items to choose from and also make sure to be open seven days a week to accomodate anyones schedule. They do their absolute best to accomodate their guests. Despite being a smaller venue they have made fantastic use of the space, even having a few sharable pub tables where I have witnessed strangers become life long friends bonding over great food and great company. Their passion for what they do shines though and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Cheers to future success!”

“Great place to get a taco or burrito. Taco meat (beef) was amazing quality. They only do chicken on Sundays keep that in mind. I got the hot Salsa but it felt mild to me. The tacos were packed very well and were delicious. The dining was outside but it was peaceful and relaxing.”

“Family friendly restaurant with excellent food and friendly service. Had the red pepper tomato bisque and coffee with a small plate of fries. One of the best soups I've ever had. Fries were hot and fresh, not re fried. Excellent coffee too.Layout has tv screens for sports on one side while the other side is more for sitting down with friends/family.Short walk to the beach.Highly recommended.”

“Great iconic restaurant to Port Stanley. Typical fast food fare. Ice cream, popcorn! However, they have their own special sweat sauce for fries and Mackie's own Orange ? aid. “My husband and I choose a place for lunch or breakfast every Saturday. We decided on the Buccaneer. Neither of us had been before, well, I have been but not for a very long time.We loved the vibe of the place. Both servers were adorably dressed in all black to give the place that "higher end" vibe, which was super cute.The menu was fairly small, with not a lot of appetizer options. After we ordered we noticed little stacked cards on the table that offered a few more options that weren't on the menu. Annoying, but oh well!We started out with the garlic bread with cheese. I am a sucker for a GBC and you can't really go wrong with it. It did come with an orange slice as garnish, which I found really weird (but I still ate it haha). It was decent garlic bread; crispy and cheesy but not very garlicky!I had the traditional club with fries and gravy. I like to dip my club into gravy and the side of gravy was big enough for that plus my fries! I loooove when the gravy cup can accomodate my dipping ??. The club itself was FAB! Fresh turkey and bacon and it was perfectly toasted. My only gripe on the sandwich, which is totally personal preference, is that I asked for mayo but it came on the side in a little cup. This left me to dismantle my sandwich to add the mayo when it could have been easily added when making it.My husband had the bacon burger with fries. He said the burger was "okay". It was a bit overcooked for his personal taste and he didn't like the flavour of the burger itself, but again, totally personal preference. Both of us did notice a weird spice on the fries as well; we couldn't quite pinpoint it, but we didn't love it. It was kind of tangy but not spicy.We also ordered a few pints while there but two of the three came out 2/3 filled. He didn't complain because I would be mortified if he did, but they were kind of pricey to not be completely filled up ($20 for three).All in all, we really had no complaints. This review is very much a personal preference. There wasn't anything wrong with the food, but it didn't suit our tastes...if that makes sense. We'll probably be back to visit and try other things!”

“First time at PJ Epic Eats. I was enjoying at the beach with my family and we decided to give it a try.What a great decision it was. I was assisted by Cheryl. She was super friendly, polite and helpful.The food was so delicious and fresh. Their fries were the best I have had. My family and I enjoyed all their food very much.Walking back to the beach with the food, I felt how I was stared by all the people we walked by while carrying the food because of the delicious smell ?Do not forget the dessert. The funnel cake was spectacular.We will definitely come back again and ask more from their menu.Fully recommended ????????”

We were offered a bubbly drink, tea/coffee, and we each received a selection of savoury and sweet items. It was a good amount of food! The service was excellent. “Service is exceptional. Dropped in today after 3, Aug 6/23 with my daughter. She asked for the vegan options which they did not have, normally special order. Even though it was near closing they offered to make them for her. 30 minutes later she had fresh Vegan fritters. This is a great local business.When the local Tim Horton’s declined to service the walk-in customers. We searched for a local bakery. The Fritter Shop came up. Fresh Baked fritters are better than any Tim Horton’s product any day of the year. This little Dutch bakery is a must stop when in St Thomas. You will not be disappointed. To bad we are a 90 min drive away.”

“I went into Ollie's because I heard that a very good friend of mine who i hadn't seen in many many years was a regular customer there. I tried talking to the 2 barmaids who were working that Sunday Feb 11th and explaining the situation but they weren't very nice or accommodating. They were actually rather rude so my cousin and I had one beer and left.Wheelchair accessibility: I was with my cousin who is in a wheelchair. We had no problems moving about inside the bar or the ladies room”

Noone else was seated in that section so we had lots of privacy. Food was phenomenal, I ordered the Lobster melt sandwich, to die for. Alongside sweet potato fries and a lava cake with icecream. “I pre-ordered a 5 dozen cookie tray for a holiday celebration. They provided the option for peanut butter or no peanut butter cookies which was great. The tray had many fresh and homemade tasting cookies enjoyed by my group, including ginger, sugar, oatmeal raisin, and chocolate chip. Service was very friendly and efficient! And the cost was very reasonable. I will be back.”
