I found Port Stanley by accident. We Googled restaurants and Barnacles was the only one open late, 11:00pm. It's friendly and has a family atmosphere. Seems other customers were knowing each other. We ordered special, perch fish and chips. It's fresh and fluffy! It was an amazing little trip to the town and the restaurant.

Good option for a quick bite and a beer in Port Stanley. Patio is cozy and gets quite busy. Staff are friendly.

Not impressed 2 pieces of English style fish and chips dinner and another 1 piece with just very little fries which is cheap should have tons of fries , the fish was very soggy and greasy and the tiny little tea spoon full of coleslaw is laughable for just under $50 not good in my opinion

It’s a basic beach town bar and grill but the wings! Holy smokes are those ever good!! Decent enough beer selection and a patio to boot. Bravo!

I had a great time on Saturday night. Great apps and a great cover band.

I don't normally write reviews for a Panzerotti, but this one blew me away. The quality is that of a homemade panzerotti, but not just any homemade quality; I'm talking about blow-you-out-of-the-water homemade quality. I mean, this is a bar and grill, and I must say that is probably the best panzerotti I think I've ever had. Thanks for the great service and great food. I mean, this panzerotti, by far, blows away any pizza store, and even smaller pizza shops could never touch the quality and taste of their panzerotti. All I can say is WOW, and you guys are definitely my go-to spot from now on for mouth-watering panzerottis. You guys rock!

Me and a friend came here for the first time on Saturday and we were glad we did. It was a very friendly atmosphere and great vibe. It was our first time experiencing with trivia night, it was a lot of fun and we were terrible lol
We loved our nachos and pizza. And when we’re back in town, we will definitely be coming back here. ❤️

The food was good but expensive for what I received. I had the fish platter, and for the money, I would have expected more. The atmosphere gives off dinner vibes that could use an update. Staff were friendly.

This review is for Sunday the 20th of October 2024. We arrived as they opened about noon. Beautiful weather so ate on the patio. Food was obviously prepared by someone not up to the task. Nothing was good but we were hungry and ate most of it. The fish had potential to be good but was saturated in oil and soggy. Server was friendly. She never asked us how we liked our food I assume because she already knew the answer. Despite the region being surrounded by Craft brewers there was not a beer on tap that would be appealing so we had a glass of wine instead. The flies and wasps on the patio were unbelievable although I appreciate that may arguably be somewhat out of the hands of the business. There are ways to limit this problem if is is what you do for a business.
