I forgot to take a pic of the pizza I ate. I was quite famished so I gobbled it up. I think I came too late in the day, the pizza was rotating for a while but the store was big. There were so many different food items for the secluded town of Port Sydney. I will have to try this again when I'm in the area, there is quite a unique flair to it. The pizza side itself was just ok. I think for an in house made slice it was not bad. The sauce consistency was good, not enough crunch to the crust, it was a bit chewy, but I will have to try it again. Maybe get a whole pie to compare.

Amazing little local gem/general store with everything you need for cooking (checkout all of David's creations) and drinking, plus a cooler of alcohol! We got the Friday special with 2 large pep pizzas for 27.99, and a family of 4 kids and 4 adults gobbled it up in seconds. Delish and fresh with a thin crust - highly reco with the local Muskoka brand garlic dip (hummus-like)! Will be back!!

David is great as are the staff, always willing to help. Try their all day breakfast sandwich, they make them fresh to order!! Or the pizza or a yummy smoked meat sandwich all of which are fully customizable!! Best to call in if you don't wanna wait but the pizza slices are usually always ready ?

Best pizza ever! Absolutely LOVE Crazy David’s pizza! Amazing butter tarts, & perfect selection of everything you might need in a pinch. David, his wife and all the staff are so friendly and of course Max is the best :) Very happy to have this little general store in Port Sydney!

I like to support local businesses, but when they charge $4.00 for a small bottle of pop that's a bit excessive.

Great ice cream and still an amazing spot to chat with the locals

Store is great with lots of cool selections and candies etc. HOWEVER the prices are insane, 3.99 for a pack of gum or 21.99 for a 12 pack of a specialty soda. I won't be back, the prices are too high.

The last 15 years we always head to a cottage at Clyffe House the beginning of September, so we are very familiar with the General Store. I'll vouch for both the coffee, the selection of stuff you need and especially the pizza. Tried it for the first time this year. Yum. 10/10, will order again, next year.

This store has everything you need. Reasonably priced and close to the beach as well!

There’s coffee, sandwiches, non alcoholic beverages and many more. We forgot to bring crackers for smores and it was available at the store!

We hired David to cater our wedding in Port Sydney, ON. Our wedding day included sandwiches and veggie platters, snacks, gluten free options, breakfast sandwiches, non-alcoholic drinks, pizza and a candy table. All supplied by David and his team at David’s General Store. They also provided cutlery, plates, cups and napkins. The food was delicious, he was mindful of allergies at every step of the way. David checked in regularly to ensure that the event went off without a hitch.

His staff were a Godsend. They helped with setup, cleanup and serving. They were very friendly, great with the guests. Over all my favorite part was the candy table, which was all David’s idea.
Everything supplied by David’s General Store was delicious. The service was amazing.

He provided Appetizers, Sandwiches, Snacks, Veggies, a Candy Table and the Pizza (as well as cups, cutlery, napkins and plates). David was amazing to work with, he had everything covered, even things we hadn’t thought of. He was always available, answered all our questions, gave great advice and suggestions, and made our special day perfect!
His staff were fantastic too, we hired 4 staff members to serve, set up and clean up – they should be called “David & the Dream Team.” They were fantastic! Super helpful and professional, and great with our guests, especially the children. You should absolutely consider talking with David if you just want a good meal, or need some catering for an event – think Family Gatherings, Hallowe’en, Holidays, Graduations, Special Occasions, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Beach/Cottage Parties, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Bachelorette/Bachelor Parties, and Weddings.
If you’re hosting an event and consider yourself a “candy connoisseur” then absolutely ask for David’s Candy Table! We love candy, and he found stuff that even we’d never seen before! The variety of what David and the dream team at David’s General Store can offer you is endless.
I can’t recommend them highly enough. Why can’t google let me give them 10 stars??
Oh, and yes, EVERYTING is incredibly tasty.

Highly recommend stopping for ice cream after a day at the beach. I had their custom-made malted milkshake with Kawartha Dairy "Death by Chocolate" - it was fabulous. I also recommend their sandwich of cinnamon French Toast piled with maple butter, an egg, hash browns & bacon. Very friendly staff & lots of options for everyone.

David's catered our daughter's wedding in Port Sydney and he and his staff looked after us so well. Their service was friendly and seamless and the food was fun and delicious. No one left hungry.

Their candy table was a hit for children and adults.

David's General Store contributed to the success of that day.

My family devoured our all-day breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches and ice cream. Their chef even tailored a sandwich to meet the requirements of our very picky little one. I wish I had taken photos of our meals, but they got eaten too quickly :)

If you’re thinking of having a larger event catered in the area, look no further! Dave and his team catered my sister’s wedding (80+ people) and were beyond amazing and professional. Everyone commented on how beautifully displayed the candy table was and how much they loved the pizza and sandwich options.
