Ice cream was delicious!! Went with a large group and all enjoyed. The service was great and quick and it’s a beautiful area!

True to the reviews! Stopped in to grab 2 pizzas and it was fantastic. Everything that makes you love cottage county is found in a store like this. You don’t build this many positive reviews on Google doing a bad job. Don’t hesitate to make this a regular stop!

After reading all the rave reviews about David’s iced coffee and his special ice cubes, we had to go in and try for ourselves. It was absolutely delicious and not watered down when the ice melted for dinner. We decided to order pizza and we’re so happy with our order it was delicious the perfect amount Of sauce and crispiness. Our only flaw is that we never got to meet the famous David hopefully next time.

Nice store for an ice cream stop - the portions are huge so I recommend checking and asking for smaller portions. The beach nearby is also lovely. Recommend this.

I cannot speak highly enough of this lovely shop. As a non-Canadian, I got to try David’s butter tarts and was blown away. They were rich and decedent, without being cloyingly sweet. They also seemed pretty fresh, as did the numerous other homemade muffins, cookies, and more. Wish we were in town longer just to try it all! My friend also got a scoop of ice cream that was a generous portion, and they have many other snacks to choose from. I also saw locally made jams, candles, etc. They also offer bug spray, ice, propane, you name it! And the staff was all so nice and welcoming. The only thing missing from this shop is merch- my friends and I all talked about how we’d have loved to buy matching tshirts to represent this quaint and endearing general store to commemorate our time in Port Sydney, but particularly our 11 trips to this store.
