David was gracious enough to make me a pepperoni pizza close to closing time, and it was fantastic! The sauce was incredible - my favorite part. I can’t wait to try more off the menu when I’m in the area, and I’ve heard the coffee is great as well! We drive a long way for David's butter tarts!! We occasionally stay at a cottage in the Muskoka's and never miss a stop here. Warning... the butter tarts are addictive and worth every penny. Also super friendly service with that classic "General Store" feel... where they remember customers. They also have great homemade pizza and we love the Port Sydney swag - hoodies are awesome.

Tonight was our first time trying David's pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfect, the toppings fresh, and the pizza sauce was perfectly spiced. How lucky are we to have this amazing general store in our little village?! Enjoying their yummy pizza is definitely going to become a regular occurrence for us! To top it off, David and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. Next up - the smoked meat sandwich!

Decided to wander over to Port Sydney today to try the Pizza at David’s - and are we ever glad we did!! It’s delicious and really good value as well.And, to top it off, we were able to pick up a package of our very favourite Maple Cresm cookies!Loved the store - the woman who served us was delightful - a great outing on this kinda gloomy, cool Sunday afternoon.We’ll be back for sure. Well done!!!!!

One happy local here: I went in to get a couple things for my sick kid on my way hone from getting her at school. The credit card machine was down and after hearing that's all I had on me, David told me to take the stuff and get him back later. So nice of him. He definitely didn't need to do that but it made a big difference to me and my sick kiddo in the car. I'll be back lots!

Ordered a regular pizza for the kids, smoked meat sandwich for husband and gluten-free pizza for myself. All three were fantastic! The gluten-free pizza crust was really good!

This is a quaint but essential store for the locals. Food to prepare at home (groceries) plus treat food- ice cream cones, butter tarts, yes still renting dvds also.Maybe pizzas as well.
