Twice this year I've had to make room on my "top 5 meals of all time time" and this was one of them! The tasting menu by Jared only lacked a thesaurus for me to find more great words to describe it. Blaine's suggestions and attentiveness were spot on. This is definitely a reason to stop in Picton! Book early, as soon as this place gets better known it'll be impossible to get a table.

We were a party of 6 last night and had a fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal but the service was top-notch! All three staff we interacted with were charismatic and personable. The hostess learned my mother was here from Newfoundland and told us all about the trip her friends just planned for the Rock, showing us the map on her tablet. Our server “Prince Charming” was so engaged with my step-son who is on the spectrum and can be very shy. It made my son’s whole night having a conversation with him about the Shrek movies and Puss in Boots! I could not say enough about what a wonderful experience we had at Hartley’s.

We had an amazing dinner at Hartley’s Tavern. The oysters were incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and perfectly chilled. They were some of the best I've had! The bison tartare was also a standout dish, beautifully seasoned and tender, with a unique and rich taste. Highly recommend both for an unforgettable dining experience!

His deep knowledge of the menu, the wine selection, and the local area made our dining experience even more special. He guided us through the evening with a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth.
