The WORST winery in PEC period. We have been coming to PEC since over 10 years and enjoy going to wineries for tasting and buying the one or two bottles. All this guy (Edward) was about is to take your money and get you out of there ASAP. They don’t give you different glasses for different wines not even rinse it in between. No idea HOW to pour wine. Save yourself the bad experience and drive further west to other places which KNOW how to serve wine

Had a wonderful stay at Huff Winery. The rooms were modern and clean. Very spacious for a hotel room with a sitting area, separate bed room area and large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower. Note, no coffee maker or coffee in room, but it does come with a free bottle of wine from Huff.

The included breakfast was great. Made to order omelette station with sausage, bacon, hash brown, waffle station, fruit, yogurt, breakfast breads and cereals. Plenty of choice and variety and all very tasty!

The winery was great too. Visited and did the experiences tour. Four flights of wine, personalized tour guide, and personal tour of the behind the scenes.

Highly recommend if visiting PEC!

Rooms: Lovely! Very new and modern. Great to include a whirlpool hot tub.

Walkability: It is secluded, and so walking nearby will be along a busy stretch of highway.

Self serve breakfast with NO Chef
I was very disappointed with the breakfast after reading reviews about that being such a great feature. Due to the low occupancy, they did not bring in a chef for breakfast so it was a self serve offering much like a cheap motel.

Do not recommend going there when the older guy is working. His customer service and knowledge is zero.

As other reviews have mentioned, the customer service is lacking at this winery. We did not even stay for a wine tasting due to the rude individual working in the bottle shop on Saturday. I would not recommend this place as there are too many other wineries in the area that offer a great customer experience.

Such a nice, relaxing space to unwind in. The staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful, I only wish I was able to spend more time there. We arrived after dark on a Friday and left by 8 on a Saturday as we were working an event in the county. Even missed out on the wine tasting. I would not hesitate to come back and have a proper stay, eat, relax and enjoy.

Rooms: Clean and comfortable.

Safety: 24 hour front desk support, easy to find staff for assistance if needed. My colleague forgot to lock his door even, no problems.

Food and drinks: Very nice breakfast, waffles, omelettes, hot options, continental options, decent coffee. I also bought a couple of bottles of wine, opened one during my stay and it was very nice.

Just got back from a 2 night stay at Huff Estates and have to say, I was very impressed with everything about the place. Rooms are generous size, comfortable, quiet and clean with a private patio. The continental breakfast was much more than any continental breakfast I typically have at a hotel and included an omelette and Belgian waffle station. The staff were super and the pizza and wines were great! If you are planning a trip to PEC, I highly recommend Huff Estates!

September 2024
This winery was okay as I was not impressed by the staff. We were left on our own to look around. The wines were not my favourite, and the man at the outside bar serving the samples was very serious.
You have to pay for samples. Probably more fun here if you were in a bigger group.
We did not eat here, but there was a large restaurant.

Stopped in on our PEC wine tour for a tasting and lunch. Our server was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the wines. Wood fired oven pizza was great, however wish there was more to choose from on the menu than just this. Location was beautiful.

Very pleasant stay, rooms were well appointed and comfortable the staff was pleasant and helpful, the grounds are beautiful with a gallery and a beautiful display of sculptures in the gardens. Wine tasting and tour was excellent and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a must visit when in Prince Eduardo County.

Rooms: Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights. We read a lot of comments regarding staff being rude. I can tell you that we did not experienced any of that during our stay. The employees were very polite and respectful. Everyone is there to ensure that you have everything you need to be happy. The breakfast is complementary and very much appreciated. You also have a wine tasting included which is also a very nice attention. Do not hesitate to book there!

Nearby activities: Very close to the other Wineries

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, wine is great. Only thing is the service is not worth it. Guy at the bar was rude and unprofessional, rude and made us feel like we were disturbing him.

The entertainment during the day on Sundays is a plus, as are the lovely indoor gallery and outdoor sculpture garden

A real downside is no evening meal option onsite, and evening entertainment would also be very nice Just pizza at lunch, a common limitation throughout PEC. Huff could step up its game and offer a pasta menu and/or provide grills on the outdoor patios of the rooms, so that guests could prepare their own meals. You can’t do wine tastings and have nothing but a pizza, and certainly enough is charged for accommodation to provide additional services

Service at the tasting bar was poor. We were invited by an officious sommelier to go to an outside picnic table, when none were vacant, and we were purchasing wine and, yes, pizza. I believe it may have been our well behaved dogs that he didn’t like, since others were not so invited to exit the tasting area. Dogs are welcome here. The manager, Bryan, however, was lovely the next day and tried to. Compensate for the rude staff. Rude behaviour extends to the reception area as you enter. The woman there was polite at best.
