Golden Wok Chinese & Szechwan Restaurant

Quantity of food for was great but unfortunately it was a little tasteless. We have Chichen fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, and some spring rolls. Possibly just got an odd batch but the classic taste wasn't all there.

Food was alright
The egg rolls are super breaded and filled with bean sprouts mainly, could not even eat it. And dumplings were very crispy, not alot of flavors.

Another great meal from Golden Wok, have been eating their food for years. Still tasty as ever the vegetables were delicious, the combination in the Cantonese chow mein was cooked just right. Egg rolls were very good. Compliments to the staff keep up the good work.

I dont think i have ever had food this bad from a restaurant. Every part of our meal was foul; from the soggy overcooked noodles to the rubbery meat. I think i wouldve been better off eating clumps of moss from the woods than ordering from here again. I ended up throwing out the vast majority of my meal and have been left with $70 less to my name.

So have been a customer forever, my first review was 7 years ago.

Today I ordered 117 dollars worth of their food. Normally I'm happy, as the food is good ,especially when the order is correct.

This time, I asked for egg roll, plum sauce, she said you didn't order egg roll. I said I know, however,we enjoy it on our shrimp. So she did give me 5 but said you are not allowed to have them, unless you order an egg roll. I'm like for 117 dollar bill and I ask for 5 plum sauces I don't want to hear no. They are small little sauces. Like seriously, you only do take out now. Ya are gonna give me a hard time for these small sauces. I do t want the soya sauce..or the terrible cookies. Keep that stuff and give me the plum sauce. I will not be ordering again. Thanks for the great customer service.

Oh ya and I ordered honey garlic chicken balls, not wings. But all good.

Served old lo mein noodles taste all very bland, general tao was awful and over sauced

Let me start by saying my food was terrible. My egg roll was hard and very dark brown and had evidently had been fried more than once. My serving of veggies was 80% pieces of big onions. My chicken was hard and old. For reference I walked in, placed my order and ate it immediately in my car at the park so there was less than 2 minutes between me waiting inside for my order and then going to eat it once it was finished.

Furthermore the lady didn’t give me my change. She just pocketed over a dollar probably assuming it’s a tip even though they don’t even have dine in service even though the place is filled with tables and chairs. So rly not sure why she kept my change unprompted and then gave me terrible food

This was also my second time trying this place. The first time was delivery and half my order was cold but I really wanted Chinese food today so I gave them another try and it was even worse than the first

I have loved this place for the past decade. Something is definitely changed on my last menu pickup on July 4. The family deal for 3 was very salty. Perhaps they have started to add msg. The beef and vegetables were completely different than the time before. It used to be broccoli and beef and nice chunks of fresh mushrooms. This time it was almonds, diced carrots, green peppers and onions. Not sure if the ownership changed. Different people working than what I know from previous pickups. Just was disappointed in the quality this time. I really loved this place before this experience.

The food is usually very good. It is takeout only. There can be a lengthy wait for take out if you don't order ahead.
Still the best choice for Chinese food in the area!

No eating in but what you order and what you get do not jibe. Third time ordering and not once did they get the order right. Chowmein had all noodles?? Rice dry. Fried wantans only thing that was good.
