Family Fry Shack

I’ve been looking forward to opening day for weeks! I just had my first poutine of the season with curds of course and it was awesome. This is one of the few chip trucks around with a medium size option and the serving sizes are true to scale. Not too big, not too small, just right. The gravy was rich and thick and they offer up half way on the toppings as well. If you like your fries crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside this is the place for you.

Absolutely love their food! It’s always so good! 😋

The only other place in town that I liked the poutine is Tammy's Taters but they make their fries with the skins on. Unfortunately, I cannot digest the skins so I haven't eaten there very often. We recently tried the Family Fry Shack and I was so happy with the poutines! They were cooked perfectly (no skins), great gravy and a choice of shredded mozzarella, curds or both, and the gravy didn't taste like beef bouillon!
