The only other place in town that I liked the poutine is Tammy's Taters but they make their fries with the skins on. Unfortunately, I cannot digest the skins so I haven't eaten there very often. We recently tried the Family Fry Shack and I was so happy with the poutines! They were cooked perfectly (no skins), great gravy and a choice of shredded mozzarella, curds or both, and the gravy didn't taste like beef bouillon! We have returned twice since and the food was great as well (although the 2nd time could have used a bit more gravy. No big deal though). I made sure to give them my thumbs up!

Family Fry Shack serves fresh and nicely cooked French fries, onion rings, and Putin. Their poutine with curds is a highlight, featuring rich and thick gravy and customizable toppings. The serving sizes are just right, not too big or small. The staff is friendly and quick, and their crunchy wagon fries are a standout.
