Darband Express ( RichmondHill)

Hired Darband express for a corporate catering event of 40 people. The food was wonderful, of the best Persian food in GTA, delivery was on time and service stellar. Faraz helped us with all this, and he did great.

On our end we made a mistake in the payment, Faraz and Darband express both cooperated with us to find a solution.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store and will never return. The food quality was unacceptable — the chicken kebab was undercooked, and after eating it, we felt unwell. It’s deeply concerning that food in such condition is being served to customers. Not only was the quality extremely poor, but the prices were also unjustifiably high. This level of service is unacceptable, and I hope the management takes this seriously to ensure it doesn’t happen to others.

By far, the best persian food in GTA. Make sure to get Homayooni, that’s their signature, the most flavorful food that you could have in your life.

Koobide was fresh and good portion.

I had a great experience with Darband Express last night (May 31, 2025) for a memorial gathering I held for my father. I ordered catering for about 70 people. From the beginning, the person who took the order, Faraz, was very polite and helpful. He followed up daily to make sure the order was correct and made adjustments as needed.

they were short on food warmer. I appreciated that Faraz was honest and didn’t promise something he might not be able to deliver. at the end however, he was very accomodating and able to provide what needed to serve the food properly.

On the day of the event, he assigned a delivery person, Amirreza, who was also very politand helful. He was communicating effectively and arrived exactly on time.

The service overall was outstanding and professional. The price was reasonable, and the food quality was amazing.

I definitely recommend Darband Express for your events.

I ordered takeout from Darband, and it exceeded all my expectations!

I especially loved the Koobideh —it was perfectly cooked. Even though it was takeout, it felt like a restaurant-worthy experience right at home!

The ordering process was smooth, and the staff was friendly. My order was ready on time, and everything was packed neatly, with no spills or missing items.

I’ve always ordered from Darband’s North York location and never had a bad experience. This time, I decided to order from their Richmond Hill branch, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the same quality. The biggest issue was the soup, it tasted exactly like halim, to the point that it felt like they had just repurposed leftover halim into the soup. It was really off-putting and completely ruined my appetite.

Other than that, the food was okay, but after that soup, I couldn’t enjoy the rest of the meal as much. Given my past experiences with their North York location, I was really disappointed. I might give this location another chance, but I’ll definitely be skipping the soup next time.

I’ve been a big fan of Darband’s food for many years. I used to visit their original branch in York Mills, but the location was quite far from me. Still, I loved their food and the quality they offered.

When they opened a branch in Richmond Hill about a year ago, I was thrilled. Since then, I’ve tried a variety of dishes, and the portions are very generous, often enough for two people. The food quality has remained consistently excellent, and I really appreciate the diverse selection on their menu.

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making you feel at home. As for the pricing, I find it quite reasonable, especially compared to other Persian restaurants in Richmond Hill. Overall, Darband delivers great food, excellent service, and good value. Highly recommend

The quality of the food is very bad!? Really a waste of time and money!? We went with our family today for Eid and said we would eat kebabs! And we ordered them! The kebabs are very bad and the olives are terrible!? The service is terrible!? You are getting paid for it, so provide good quality! We will definitely not recommend you to anyone and it was our first and last time coming here!?terrible!??
