Deer garden is a great spot to go to when you want something comforting and easy to eat. Their menu has expanded a bit more by adding HK/cantonese style food if you don't want the signature noodle soup. I would say they've been steadily increasing the prices which is a bit of a turn-off. I remember when the noodle soup was like $14 or less and now it's $18.50.
Sunday lunch is always busy at Deer Garden, go before 12:30p and there are some seats available. Anything after that is busy and you may need to wait.
Build your own soup is always great, the Tom Yum is my favorite! Side dishes and drinks are worth the extra bucks. Extra noodles for $2.50 are a must.
