On Tuesday First visit with my family and really loved the experience. Friendly neat staff seated us in a booth right away. We started with the sushi, sashimi and maki were fresh and delicious. I also loved the serving. Our server was very attentive even though they were busy. Highly recommend them.😄👍😊
Really nice restaurant. It's a little small but very cozy establishment. The price was very reasonable for an a la carte sushi restaurant. The quality of the food seems very fresh and the presentation was very nice. The wait staff was attentive and very polite. We enjoyed our experience at this restaurant.
i paid 10% tip they demand 20% forcing you for tip
Oyaji Sushi is tucked away in a plaza close to the Yonge and Crosby intersection.
We ordered Miso Soup, Wakame (Seaweed) Salad, Kimchi, the Small Combo, and Golden Tiger Rolls. We asked for certain ingredients (ex. crab, eel) to be removed and were very easily accommodated.
All together, everything was very fresh and a lot of care was put into the flavours and presentation. There were numerous Japanese and Korean items on the menu and the kimchi ended up being an unconventional but delicious pairing with the sashimi.
From the tasteful and homey decor that instantly makes you feel at home to the warm service and delicious food, it’s a restaurant worth coming back to.
Food was quite good! Fair prices. They even serve a starter salad, miso soup, and noodles (very few restaurants still service sides). It’s a traditional Korean Japanese restaurant. Super homey and warm vibes, interior looks very nice compared to exterior.
The oyaji roll was huge and delicious! Very fresh salmon in the salmon uni bowl. I think uni is not as sweet. Tempura udon was within expectations and their kanpunggi was very well balance between sweet and sour.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would, love coming here, also the staff creates a warm, inviting vibe as soon as you enter —highly recommend!!

The quality of sashimi and sushi is above average for a reasonable price. They offer a variety of cooked Japanese and Korean dishes as well if you don't prefer eating raw seafood.
Vegetarian options: Very limited options for vegetarians.

This is a Korean family owned Japanese-Korea restaurant. It’s cozy and clean inside. Waitress is very friendly and offered us free crunchy noodle soup. We ordered:
Small combo 4/5
Sea food cake 3/5 $27, and not as expected , need to avoid
Overall it’s a bit pricey compared to other similar restaurants.
