The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Richmond Hill

Had an incident at the restaurant and server Ash and GM Rishi came quick to the rescue. Incredibly grateful for their service and hospitality, going above and beyond their duties. Super excited to return to this location for our next celebration.

The staff are incredibly friendly and provide excellent service—something I’ve never experienced at other locations of The Keg Steakhouse + Bar before. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and juicy the lobster was. The dessert was also amazing, so I definitely recommend leaving some room to enjoy it!

Overall, a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Just celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary here. We always celebrate special occasions at the Keg as it is always reliably good. Unfortunately this time our experience wasn't the best. Lobster was served still partially raw inside and a portion of the vegetables did not look or seem fresh. Waiter and manager were very good about it and did their best to make up for it but we ended up not eating together which made for a disappointing experience. We also noted it was our anniversary in the reservation and was somewhat surprised at the table we were given. It was a 2 seater crammed against a wall in a busy walking area. When we kindly asked to be seated elsewhere we were told that the best they could do was to move us over 1 table to the side because of reservations (we had a reservation that noted our anniversary). All in all was somewhat surprised by the less than ideal experience.

The server wasn't friendly at all. We had to ask for water, and even after our water was finished, he never once asked if we needed anything else. It was very unusual to receive this kind of service at The Keg.

Had a great time and the food was amazing. The staff were very pleasant. Will be going there again.

Keg is the only restaurant we visited more than 30 times in the past few years BUT our visit yesterday was very disappointing.

The overall service was terrible, we are a group of 4 but on our table there was only two set of plates and cutlery. After ordering, still two sets, we waiting until breads were served still two and our server was not in the vicinity so we asked another staff to give us two more sets and he came back with two plates only. We waited until our server showed up and asked for the forks and knives.

Good wise its was great, all four steak was done perfectly, appetizer and drinks were good. Most of the other Keg location mess up on the steak temperature but Richmond hill location was on point.

I celebrated my birthday with my family, and our server, Dino, made our experience such a delight! He was so attentive and thoughtful throughout our meal. He gave us great suggestions, made sure we weren’t waiting too long for anything, and was always checking in at the perfect time. We were just about to ask for takeout boxes when he had already brought some over and encouraged us to take our time. It was such a nice gesture and really made our experience even better. Thanks for making my birthday so memorable, Dino! 😊

I've been a Keg customer for several years, and for the past three years, I've chosen Keg locations to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my family. Unfortunately, last night was very disappointing. We had a 9:00 PM reservation but arrived around 9:30 due to an unexpected delay. I understand the 15-minute policy, but the way we were treated at reception was extremely discouraging. The staff explained the policy in such a cold and unfriendly manner, making us feel as though we had done something seriously wrong, rather than simply being late for a reservation. A little kindness and understanding would have made a big difference. We waited almost 20 minutes and were then seated at an uncomfortable table beside the entrance, despite specifically requesting a nice table for our 20th wedding anniversary. Thankfully, Emily was wonderful—warm, kind, and professional—and she helped turn the evening around. After three years of choosing Keg for our special occasions, unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning for future celebrations.

The Keg is consistent and never disappoints. Our server was great and brought all our meals out to perfection!

Not a satisfactory experience we had in KEG which we had dinner due to not properly cooked steak.

Our server Sally was delightful and professional and attentive without being to attentive. The food was excellent as it always is.

Ash is an amazing waiter. We have had him a few times and always a pleasure. smart quick and kind. thank you Ash..there was another kind gentleman who had longer hair which was also great and quite funny actually...thank you for making my sisters birthday great...see you again

The server was absolutely excellent. He understood our needs and acted accordingly. Great place to dine!

I can't lie, one of the best Keg's I've been to. Everything was perfect, ranging from how good the food was, the service was incredibly friendly, and the place just felt really nice, honestly no complaints. The only reason it's not 5 stars is I wasn't absolutely blown away, I'm very picky with my 5 stars, otherwise I would've given it a full 5. Place was very warming, trust me go here

The Keg, and this location specifically, is always consistent with the quality of both their food and their staff. We were there for my wife's birthday and none of us came out disappointed. We've eaten at higher-end steakhouses and can honestly say that The Keg is in a league of its own. Overall, we were all very satisfied with our experience.
