Overall, I had a great experience here.

I ordered the Chenjeh kebab with rice, which came with a small yogurt bowl and a soft drink. I’m writing this after I finished my meal—so no photos, because it was too good and it’s already gone!

There are many other good things I could mention, but these points alone are enough for me to choose this restaurant again and recommend it to others.

The food was way too oily — especially the ghormeh sabzi, which was swimming in oil. It also felt like they had poured a bucket of oil over the rice. The oiliness made me feel unwell afterwards. I hope they reconsider how much oil they use.

Poor quality kabob and rice . Kabob burned out to charcoal. Poor quality rice !!! I will never go back to this place. Waste of money!

Stay away from ordering food from here via Uber eats. Tried to double bill me from the same order. NOT recommended.

Tochal Restaurant has become my go to spot for authentic Persian cuisine. Every dish I’ve tried has been consistently fresh, well prepared, and full of rich, traditional flavors that really stand out. One of the things I really enjoy is the thoughtful presentation. Meals are generously served with freshly baked bread, a crisp side salad, and a portion of creamy yogurt, which adds a nice balance to the meal. The portions are satisfying, the quality is excellent and the overall dining experience always feels warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for genuine Persian food, this place is a must visit.

I love the chicken and lamb kebab! The food is always fresh, and the owner is exceptionally nice and honest. He even weighed the chicken for me so I could calculate my protein intake. Highly recommended!
