Rizzo's was fantastic! The calamari was honestly the best I've ever had, and the mozzarella sticks were spot on. For mains we tried the stuffed shells and veal parm with a side of spaghetti. Everything was delicious. Our server Rocky provided excellent service, and the restaurant itself is very well kept with a homey/vintage vibe.
Highly recommend!

We traveled from New York City to try Rizzo's because of hype from a coworker and general buzz around the restaurant. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed by the most important aspect of a restaurant - the food. While nothing was bad, we didn't find anything to be particularly amazing either. The portion sizes were generous so we didn't end up finishing any of our dishes despite coming in hungry.
The service at Rizzo's is amazing with attentive, friendly servers who are happy to answer questions or give recommendations. We felt the service was the standout aspect of Rizzo's that helped it stand above others with similar food.
The restaurant itself consists of a small dining area with a bar and the volume level was general loud and we had some difficulty hearing each other. The ambiance felt like a cocktail lounge but with brighter lighting. I'd say this is a good spot to catch up with friends or to meet someone for a date.
We ordered the mozzarella sticks, meatballs, garlic & parm focaccia, gnocchi, and chicken parm. The mozzarella sticks were probably one of our favorite items as it's clearly homemade and the seasoning was delicious, albeit quite salty. The meatballs were our least favorite item as it reminded us of Chef Boyardee meatballs in texture and taste - the meatballs' texture was mushy and the flavor was very singular note. The focaccia was delicious and we loved the balsamic olive oil that came with the dish! We also loved dipping the focaccia in the various sauces that came with other dishes. The gnocchi was good and we liked the cream sauce but felt the texture of the gnocchi was a little too soft as I prefer more bite in my gnocchi. Finally, found the chicken parm to be delicious with great crisp and flavorful seasoning and sauce.

Rizzo's offers a lost cuisine in southwestern Ontario; cooking delicious italian-american classics in a cozy and welcoming dinning room with friendly and professional waiting staff. One could feel the personalized creativity behind the menu and restaurant decor. The restaurant was able to take reservations weeks in advance and is worth the trip for patrons outside of the area. Thanks for having us.

Wonderful wholesome comfort food made incredibly. Fantastic staff. We've been three times, will continue. Prices are above average for homey Italian though well worth it.

I really wanted to love this place. It is a very small understated space, I made reservations for 2 and was sat at the bar. Not ideal as I had recently fractured my foot and with a boot on it made it difficult to sit on a bar stool. The staff was friendly however I had to ask multiple times for my husband's drink. We also ordered food to go which they missed part of the order. Now for the food, we had the chicken parm with spaghetti on the side , we requested a non red sauce, usually it is garlic oil etc. The side pasta was underwhelming. The parm itself was good. Best part was the dessert I think, we had the tiramisu, it was too strongly flavored for my husband but I really enjoyed it. I also had to try their cannolis, the lemon pistachio was very good but you need to eat them that day, the shells went soggy overnight. Overall ok but for the price, I definitely have had better experiences, glad I tried it though! Sorry didn't take pictures.

I’ve come three times in two months. The first rime we did the tasting menu, great way to explore the menu. The next two times we have perfected our order. We LOVE the meatballs, the ceaser salad, the vodka pasta, the chicken piccata is unlike any other you will ever have, and the cannolis are fabulous. The staff is attentive and want you to have a great experience. A wonderful place to enjoy a meal with good company.
The lemon pistachio canoli is something that I dream of to have at my wedding one day.

This place is the real deal and worth the drive. Food was excellent. Huge portions.
I sat at the bar by myself and got to watch the kitchen a bit. Shout out to the blonde bartender who was my server and walked me through the menu(I forget her name).
I ordered the mozzarella sticks and the veal parm, was still full the next day.

Major disappointment! I'm shocked that this restaurant has 4.6 stars. You could honestly make better pasta at home. We had the Penna a la Vodka, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Parm, mozza sticks and calamari, which are all apparently the most popular items. If someone offered me a free meal here I still wouldn't come back, and that's before I experienced massive diarrhea on my way home. You're paying high quality prices for a low quality meal.

Drove 1.5 hours and was utterly disappointed. Almost 50 minutes to be served my meal. The sauce was disappointing and the meatballs tasted burnt. Ambience was lacking, though opened in 2022, it looked outdated, washroom was not properly ventilated. Small restaurant with slow service. Matty Matheson disappointed. Servers were not attentive. Been to many Italian restaurants, nothing authentic about the food. Pomodoro sauce tasted like it was out of a can.
