Boathouse Cafe

Great experience. We weren't sure what to order, the brisket sandwich, tater tots and ceasar salad were recommended. The staff were friendly, and the food was great.

We ordered a platter for one and pulled pork sandwich with taters. The beef brisket in the platter for one was hard and dry, very little taste. The pulled pork sandwich was okay.

They did work quickly to get our takeout order ready which was appreciated. Personally I don’t think we would eat here again.

We had dinner here tonight and enjoyed it very much. We love Brisket Daddy's original restaurant on Hwy 7, so we wanted to check out their Boathouse Cafe as well and try some of the new menu items we saw advertised online. We do not live or vacation at Golden Beach Resort, but were provided quick access at the gate so we could go to the restaurant. I had smoked pulled pork nachos, which were so good, and so huge I had to take over half home with me to enjoy later. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his smoked brisket sandwich and tots. The brisket just melts in your mouth and the tots were very tasty and crispy. Hubby had a craft beer, and I had a fountain pop that they included for free with my meal purchase. What a pleasant surprise! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ate inside today, but there were several people enjoying the lovely patio as well. Highly recommend you give this place a try! You will love it! 😋

Had a wonderful experience in Saturday with the most delicious brisket. I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will be back soon to try the corn dip.

On our way to Rice lake for a weekend away, our tummies rumbling, we checked in with Google for a restaurant near by, and it directed us to the Golden Beach Resort and the Boathouse Cafe. We had a bacon Cheese burger with fries, summer salad, and lemon pepper chicken wings. The burger was amazing. As was everything else. Staff was friendly, chef checked with us too, and then shouted, “you two need to check out the amazing sunset” as he was pointing out the windows. So we paid up our bill and headed to the beach for what was a beautiful sunset. You won’t be disappointed and the Boathouse cafe is highly recommended!! Well done.

We came at 530 pm did not get served 730 pm oder food for only 3 people, ever since this place has bin sold to a corporation it has went down hill , what a dump. Also the bathrooms are gross no paper towels to dry your hands , piss on the floors and stinks of Urine,

Drove over 50 mins to eat at the restaurant made reservations for 9 people to get there to find out there is only like 4 things on the menu. Their spring menu. So note their full menu doesn't go into affect until July 1 week. Nothing gluten free ( which their is usually is lots of options), nothing dairy free or vegan. ( which they usually do)
Not enough serves on the help the customers.
So out of our party of 9 only 3 people could
Eat. We were going to watch the music there is nothing close to go grab food.
Waited over a hour and 20 mins for 2 burgers as they gave our food to another table in which they only gave us 1 free coke.
Sat with empty drinks the entire visit never ask or brought more..

What boggles my head is how you open at 12pm and run out of food by 5pm. Please make it make sense. I was so disappointed, and because of that my husband and I will never return there. We will just stick to bbqing
