When I arrived I attempted to use my Esso app but it was slow and I found it was taking too long , the woman attending the store was so nice and explained that the system had been slow. She offered to pump my gas for me and ring it up inside the store. I thanked her but pumped the gas myself and then met her inside to pay. Such a nice and friendly lady and very helpful.
The restaurant was closed for renovations, so I can't comment much for this station. There are no pay pods either, so get out and walk to pay or wait for the attendant to take your payment and bring back the receipt.
I was visiting the Harwood area & had researched breakfast places nearby. The Tall Teepee came up as an option. At first glance, it doesn't look like much from the outside being in a fuel station. But the food & service were excellent from this family-run outfit. I actually like these family-owned outfits in small towns. I find them to be better than the traditional chain restaurants.
