Saw the Bakery awhile back. Everything is made onsite and with butter. Pastry for me was hard and dry. Filling was outstanding. Ladies were friendly and helpful. Yes, please pop in there, just wasn't my cup of tea.

Many good butter tart places in Ontario. I thought I found them all. Lol. I also make a pretty good tart myself.The hunt for the perfect tart: They can’t be previously frozen, do not want to taste egg, crust needs to be soft so it doesn’t crumble all over the place, filling needs to be not too stiff, and blend of crust to filling needs to be balanced just right.Tried out this bakery not expecting they’d be the best tart I ever had. Wow. They have the right combo level of pastry and filling. The pastry is amazing. Only wholesome ingredients too. All butter. The filling was just the right amount of sweetness and texture. We got a few different kinds and everyone was raving about them too.Seriously, the best tart you will find. Service was great. They are very passionate about what they do and it shows.Rating 10 out of 5.

The best butter tarts around. Period!My grandmother was a cook, and I grew up eating homemade butter tarts. Her Tarts were to die for.I consider myself a butter tart snob.My wife and I are always on the lookout for a new butter tart bakery in our ongoing search for the best butter tart.We have tried many places only to be disappointed. The gold standard remains the Butter Tart Empire.I have tried every one of their tart flavors, but I keep returning to the classic as my favorite.If you're in the area, stop in. Even if you're not, take the time to make the trip. You'll be hooked.

This is an absolutely wonderful bakery! Their yummy butter tarts are just to die for! The owners and staff are so polite and friendly! I have taken these wonderful treats to Ottawa , Trenton, Sarnia, Toronto Barrie and Innisfil to my friends to share these amazing treats, everyone loves them. It is now a request whenever I go and visit them! It is so worth the drive! If you haven't tried them, please do. You definitely won't be disappointed!!!

I LOVE the butter tart empire bakery, I have been coming since they opened … great customer service, the owners are extremely friendly and I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who is passing by the area - or to take a road trip on the weekend , it is WORTH IT !!!

I am the owner of the nearby Bramasole Bed and Breakfast and I suggest, to my guests, to go here often and I’ve NEVER had anyone not rave about what they’ve purchased - or myself lol. And the staff are delightful. It’s wonderful to have ANOTHER wonderful local business for people to enjoy.

Wow! Got here at opening Saturday morning. Lots of varieties of buttertarts, cookies, squares and more. The staff is super friendly. The tarts are REALLY good...pastry isn't overly thick like others and the filling is so yummy and not runny! I will definitely go back! These would make excellent gifts for someone special.Parking: Lots of well marked spacesKid-friendliness: Kids love the easy to see space for all the yummy treats!
