I've been there a couple times in the last month and highly recommend. Food and service are excellent and prices are good. I will be going back. I had the home made pistachio ice cream and it was delicious. My favourite dessert now.

We have ordered here before, the shawarma plate, and we are very disappointed with the portions. It use to be much larger, we got just as much humous as we did rice and hardly any chicken. The taste was good, but knowing we could get twice the amount of food for the same price elsewhere, we would not order again. I have never had a shawarma plate before where I finish it and am still hungry.

New to Russell, first time ordering.
My daughter and I each ordered a Souvlaki platter $19.99 each. This is what you get in one order. 2 skewers of chicken 4 little cauliflower bites(4 marble size) 3 slices of potatoes( really, I dont even get one full potato) maybe 1/2 cup of rice.
Very disappointed in the amount of food, or lack thereof for the price I paid. Sad to say I won't be ordering from there again. Best part was at least it tasted good. One star forn that.

I went back to the Big Bite Bistro for the second time because I looovve their club sandwich with the grilled chicken and only 2 pieces of bread. The owner and server offered wonderful service! Next for me is to try their catering services. ?

We had been a few times and each time it took a very long time for food to be served. Decided to give it one more chance and once again the food took a very long time. While I can’t complain about the food itself, I will say it is nothing like what is shown on the menu. I ordered the salmon and it came with a very small portion, 3 potatoes, rice and a few vegetables. Unfortunately, we will not be returning as waiting 45 minutes when there are only 3 other tables to serve is not acceptable.

I took a French onion soup which tasted at best like an onion soup envelope you add water and onion to it and it was very disappointing. Then I had the Fettuccini Alfredo which at best tasted like noodle with a bechamel sauce. No taste of garlic, parmesan and cream whatsoever like an Alfredo sauce should. My husband took the chicken parmesan served with a simple tomato sauce. We complaint and mention the cook should be fire as it was not great at all (both time). They did not gave any discount even if I barely ate it. They have a problem as we found out the cook is the owner. So honestly don't waste your time and money as the food is not worthed. Won't give them a third chance.
