Russell Restaurant Reviews
I'm not very happy with the new pricing policy at the Russell Restaurant. I have always substituted a couple of slices of tomatoes for the toast and butter and this time I was told that it was $1.15 extra and then when I agreed, I was later told it was $1.50 extra. Went to the Russell restaurant and walked out, this was the most disappointing morning I have ever had. Russell Restaurant is a well-loved family-run spot with a casual pub vibe and friendly staff. The homemade burger and mashed potatoes are absolutely delicious, and the breakfast options, including the roasted potatoes, are worth a try. Known for the BEST home fries around, this restaurant offers yummy trade secrets and a variety of flavorful dishes like pizza, poutine, club wraps, and chicken fingers. The fries and poutine are particularly good, and the fish n chips are filling. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall and offers reasonable prices, making it a good choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Visitors enjoy crispy bacon, firm eggs, and hot coffee. Some guests mention that the decor could be updated, but overall, the food and service leave a positive impression. The menu also includes toasted western sandwiches, and the chicken rice soup of the day is reminiscent of grandma’s cooking. Recent reviews highlight the fantastic homemade pies reminiscent of nonna’s, generous bacon, and friendly service. Guests appreciate the good coffee, variety of options, and the welcoming atmosphere. However, some mention a long wait time and difficulty accommodating a walker, which can be disappointing for some visitors. Overall, the restaurant continues to be a popular spot for tasty meals and friendly service.
