My grandma used to take my brother and I here when we were little; at that time and still to this day, the Russell restaurant has had the BEST home fries around.The bacon is crispy, eggs are nice and firm (not wet-looking like some places'), and the coffee is always hot!Now, I bring my own daughter here before school in the mornings. Whether our visits be weekly or monthly, the wait staff know our drinks and most of our food order.Even though I mostly dine-in for breakfast, I have also had the pleasure of eating lunch/dinner here. Their pizza is delicious, poutine, club wraps, chicken fingers; all flavorful and tasty ?Parking: Small lot, but theres some parking across the streetKid-friendliness: Coloring books, highchair, kid menu

I've been going here since I was in high school in the 2010s, and I ordered dinners from here when I worked at McEwen as a kid -- I've never been disappointed! Unfortunately, I don't get in here as often anymore, as I live out in Alberta. But, I try to pop in for a pizza when I visit home. The servers are always so attentive and polite. The meals come out fast, and, frankly, I've never had a bad one there.On top of that, the whole place is nostalgic. It feels like the diner I grew up going to with my grandparents, and I cherish that! Every small town needs a cozy eatery to hang out in, and Russell Restaurant is exactly that.

Went here for the first time with a group of 6 girls. All the girls order a meal plus 3 sides to share at the table. I only ordered hot water with a lemon slice because they didnt have what I wanted. Come to the payment they charged me $3 for a 'tea'. When we politely brought it to their attention that it doesnt make sense to charge someone for hot water they said it was because i didnt order anything. As we had 5 people order stuff plus sides this doesnt make sense. Not impressed, and if you were going to charge for a tea they should have brought me the tea bags options and let me know then i would be charged for it.$3 isnt a lot but its the fact you're charging me for hot water and then saying you're charging me because i didn't order anything yet we shared the sides. The order for the table was over $125 for an hour and a half of service, yet you still had to charge for the hot water...None of us will be back.

The Bandit's went to the 2nd Annual 3 pitch Tourney. We had an amazing breakfast. Coffee and a tray of individual water with ice came right away. Refills on coffee was spot on. I had eggs Benedict and they were everything I expected.Top notch service and food.

Service was good. First time I was here they baked the fish. Not deep fry it. And the second time I was here. Order a cheese burger and the cheese still had wrapping on it. Weird. I will not be going back.

They treat you like family. Excellent food - always a great experience. Excellent veal parmigiana- prepared in house as is the chicken parmigiana. Also try their superb pizzas. Waitress will take time to chat if they are not running to a full house. Definitely a restaurant to experience!!!Hank N.Parking: Parking is ok.
