A petite cafe in our little Russell Towne. Delicious locally sourced coffee although the take out cups are on the small side, with healthy sandwich options and good baked treats. I found their prices quite high for the quantity, coffee take out cups are small. What makes Cafe Bon Vivant unique is the friendly service. So nice that they expanded their cafe & seating, all they need to do now is create a Rewards program for their loyal customers

Selection of drinks and treats is amazing. I got an iced oat latte with blueberry and hazelnut and it was very delicious.

I love stopping in here and picking up treats when I've got friends coming over. Plenty of options for my friends with dietary restraints (gluten free, vegan, diabetic friendly). The vibes are always amazing and the service is great. It's a tiny spot in the heart of Russell, but they make the most of the space they have. Can wait to stop in for my next treats.

Cute little retro feeling coffee shop with friendly hosts and patrons. Good coffee, and the BEST date squares I’ve ever had (sorry tante Flo, but she would’ve loved them too!). Nanaimo bars and cookies I brought home were a big hit too. Highly recommend!

Bought a gift card for Mother’s Day and it was such a worth it gift. My mom was so excited to go for a little drive to tunes and catchup to this sweet little cafe. It has homey vibes that remind me of the screened porch of my French Canadian families. The staff are kind and considerate. The decor is charming.
The baked goods are top tier. My mom said that this was the best date square she has ever had - and I’ve witnessed this women eat many a date square on many an adventure. (She may have even implied that it was better that her late beloved godmothers date square-which truly I never thought would happen and could get her in hot water for saying). RIP ma tante Flo.
You can get snacks for the road and they come in this cute little retro boxes. Buckle them off and go explore a cute little town. There’s art cows on several corners!
