Food is so mediocre. 5 star prices for 1 star food. Avoid this place

The food here is amazing. I've never had better Italian food! The atmosphere is lovely and the service is great. The owner is very personable and friendly. We brought visitors from Italy and she came out to meet them and talk to them in Italian. They appreciated that very much as did we. Thanks again, we had a great meal and an even better time!

I've been here twice over the past year and loved it! First time was for my birthday, 2nd was for mine and my husband's 10th wedding anniversary. Both times, the service was fantastic and the food came out at a timely pace. The food itself is delicious. I like the variety and the specials are tasty too. We are so happy that they have our favourite dessert too, creme brulee! The atmosphere is relaxing, warm and inviting. La cantinella is definitely our go-to place for somewhere special to eat.

Waitress was friendly and helpful. The chef’s special sauce on the Arctic Char was absolutely superb!

We had the lasagna and ravioli and I have to say it was very delicious. All fresh ingredients and the lasagna noodles were home made.

We celebrated a 70th birthday at La Cantinella in St. George on Saturday October 5th. This old coach house has a great atmosphere. The food was excellent and the service great. Suggesting to make advanced reservations since the restaurant was packed.

Very nice meal...as always..Thanks Susie
I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary Aug 17 and I won't go back again. We've been many times, ordered multiple dishes. My girlfriend ordered a fettuccine alfredo, which is a very basic dish. She said there was something weird about it and when I tried it you could tell that they clearly just heated up cream, and tossed pasta in it. To serve this to a paying customer is beyond dis respectful. Whoever worked the Kitchen that night around 745pm, has no idea what they're doing. I also find it strange that there is so little effort put into their bread. Their bread is terrible and stale every time. Thank you for ruining my anniversary dinner, and thank you for saving me money because i'm done with this place. BTW, i have spent over $700 in this place since Mothers Day, and I tip 25%.

This place has declined over the years. Ordered the veal chop ($58) and decide to substitute the pasta with veggies. An extra $9 for 1 carrot. 3 sm. potatoes, 1 slice of zucchini and a couple pieces of yellow peppers. Very disappointed will not go back

My husband and I recently dined at La Cantinella in St. George. The ambiance was beautiful, featuring an elegant setting that made for a lovely evening. The service was good, with attentive and polite staff. However, we noticed that the prices were quite high. I had the Lemon Vitello, which consisted of two very small pieces of veal over a small portion of spaghetti. My husband had the pasta with seafood, which was a fair size, but the mussels in the dish seemed a bit off, raising concerns about their freshness. While the overall experience was pleasant, the high cost and issues with portion sizes and freshness were a bit of a disappointment.
We were there August 10th for a 70th Birthday Celebration for our friend David Imrie. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was awesome. Even though the food was fantastic we were the last table to be served our dinner entrè. The Birthday Cake was fabulous.
We will definitely come back again.
