This is an excellent store for quality poultry and poultry products. We especially like the boneless/skinless chicken breasts; so tender and juicy. They sell in quantity (eg. you can buy the breasts in 11lb bags which helps save some $$). If you haven't tried the turkey roast- they are a treat. Lightly seasoned and all meat so no waste. The drippings make an excellent gravy.

My sister from Toronto has driven out to Guelph ( where we live ) for 8 years for us to go to Hill Top Acres in Breslau. Sadly, they retired. And she and I plus another friend who drives in from Caledon have been desperately looking for 2 months to find a replacement. So painful and so disappointing, in all of our searches. UNTIL, we noted that Hill Top Acres referenced Southern Pride Poultry on their website. Now, it was hard to find online, ( they don't have a great online presence, you keep finding that they are at the Cambridge farmers market on Saturdays, but hard to find the storefront). We went today. My sister met me at the Aberfoyle Hwy 401 parking lot, and we carpooled together.AMAZING! The exact same standard and quality we have experienced with Hill Top for years. In fact, this place used to SUPPLY them! There was a lovely woman at the counter, who was so friendly, and helpful. So for us with freezers, make the drive every few months and stock up. You will not regret this.

They sell corn-fed chicken. as you know, corn-fed chicken produces yellow results for fat and broff. it's the way chicken used to taste. Wonderful.
