Dropping our kid off at Guelph Uni, my wife and I have been stopping at the Dragon for apps and a drink (it's the half way point... Kind of)! Last night we brought our son and actually had a meal. Keeping in mind we're rating pub food, this is one of the best places you'll experience it! The 1/2 lb. Funky Fungi and Dragon's Breath burgers will have you licking your forearms they're so juicy. The 3 Tier Quesadilla with chicken really satisfied the palate. If you like wings the Dragon does those right too... meaty and juicy with a nice outer crisp. Next time I'll up to "Hot" I did find "Medium" a little too mild but you may think otherwise. For those of you that like to sub for salad I strongly recommend the Goat Cheese Salad for the extra couple $. It's nicely presented but wait till you try it! Fantastic! Not sure if we'll be back! LOL. See you soon.

My very first visit to this restaurant and I couldn't get the pulled pork pizza. They ran out of pulled pork. That is why I did not provide a five-star rating.However, the macaroni and cheese with bacon was a suitable substitute.

This was our first time at this restaurant. It's a busy little place and popular for lunch. We were glad we got there for lunch before the crowd flooded in. The service is good ... the waitress might want to smile a little and engage a bit more but no real complaints. The food was very good. The atmosphere is a little "roadhouse" like but nothing to complain about. We would return if in the area again.

We found this little gem about 2&1/2 months ago & have made it our "date night" dinner spot every Friday night since. We have also brought family & friends to enjoy dinner with us. I call every Friday at 11 am to make a reservation for 4:45 & there is a particular table we always sit at. When we arrived there last night we were told my name had been scratched off the list & so no reservation was held for us. I REALY don't understand this. I was in the hospitality business for 27 years & nothing like this ever happened. We were seated at a different table (not one I enjoyed) & it seemed our server was way too busy to pay much attention to us. We did ask another server for coffee. I defeatedly expected a complimentary dessert to share or at least a complimentary coffee but nothing. Quite disappointed with the treatment we received.
