At the gateway to downtown Sarnia stands Bad Dog, a restaurant that has rightfully earned its place as one of the top culinary spots in the city. Takeout sucks. Ordered a side of sweet potato fries with a meal. The lady placed an order for 3 side fries. Not sure why people that can barely speak English are taking orders over the phone .
Called to complain about order after my wife had picked up food and they told me to just mention that they owe me sweet potato fries the next time we come in for food… there won’t be a next time.
Bad dog used to be good but is trash now .
Second visit there and again truly disappointed in both the service and quality of food. Seems the management really doesn't care either. You really should pull up your bootstraps as there is a whole lot of competition out there. Do better BD.

Bad Dog in Sarnia is a popular restaurant, known for its delicious food and excellent service. The hostess is welcoming and promptly seats customers, even when the restaurant is packed. The Cajun Pasta is a must-try, and the bruschetta burger, flatbreads, and nachos are also highly recommended. The staff is friendly, attentive, and great with kids, even when training new servers. The outdoor seating offers beautiful views of the river and heaters are provided for cooler evenings, making it a pleasant spot to dine outside. The patio atmosphere is enjoyable, especially with draught beer on special. The restaurant is often fun and more full on weekends, with a lively atmosphere that can get a bit loud but still comfortable for conversations. Overall, Bad Dog is a great place for a meal, offering delicious food, excellent service, and a friendly, inviting environment.
