Walked downtown & decided to stop in for a meal. Not so busy earlier in the weeknights which is nice, it is fun & more full on weekends.
This is my first visit since starting to be more health conscious & what a pleasant surprise when really looking over the menu. There was a good selection, a great selection that still had my tracking app happy with my choice. The deconstructed burger salad is wonderful. Try it.
Staff was wonderful (as always)
My wife and I enjoyed Bad Dog, Sarnia. The patio atmosphere, the draught beer (on special) and the food were all great. We especially enjoyed the kind and friendly waitresses, Michaela and Rachel. We'll be back, next time we get to Sarnia. Thank you!
Awesome little spot for a few beers and some food. Fancier than your usual spot but not too fancy for blue collar boys like me.
Such great food, service, huge portions, and very reasonable prices! Also found this great local wine there!
Our family came after my daughter’s graduation to have a celebratory sit down. First time at this establishment. It took our server 33 minutes after arriving to enter our order to the kitchen. It was a busy day, however we even mentioned that there were two insulin dependent diabetics in the party so we needed efficiency. The so called manager with no name tag came to our table to argue timelines. People who arrived after us had their food before we did. No apology, or discount for the stressful experience. We will NEVER be back.
Great place for dinner and drinks with a great vibe.
Honestly one of the places to go to in Sarnia.
The food is always fresh but the waiting times can be a bit long when the restaurant is full.
It might also get loud but not that loud that you can’t speak.
This is THE place to go in Sarnia. The food is extremely tasty and fresh. Portions are very generous and affordably priced. The waitresses are efficient, nice, and very upbeat. The place is very clean, comfy, with lots of light, and has great music in the background.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Sarnia.
From Brownstones to Bad Dog: A Tip of the Hat to True Downtown Grit At the gateway to downtown Sarnia stands Bad Dog, a restaurant that has rightfully earned its place as one of the top culinary spots in the city. Owned and operated by Jay and Margo, two incredibly hardworking and community minded individuals, Bad Dog isn’t just a business it’s a testament to what passion, perseverance, and ingenuity can build. While we may be competitors in the hospitality space, we at Brownstones hold deep respect for their grind. Jay and Margo have created something special that reflects not only their skill as operators but their authenticity as people. Their presence in the community goes far beyond their restaurant’s four walls, and their commitment to quality and consistency is something we can all admire. Sarnia is lucky to have Bad Dog at its downtown doorstep it's a true local gem. Brownstones Sports Lounge & Restaurant Supporting Local. Respecting Excellence.

Super nice employees and delicious food !! Just wish the portion sizes were bigger, and I'd added avocado to my food, it wasn't ripe and was $3.00 :( but overall a good experience and would go back :)

I ordered the two pieces of fish with fries, came with Cole slaw and tartar sauce, for just under $20!
The portions were generous and the food delicious!! I’ll definitely make this my go to for take out fish & chips 😊
