From Brownstones to Bad Dog: A Tip of the Hat to True Downtown Grit At the gateway to downtown Sarnia stands Bad Dog, a restaurant that has rightfully earned its place as one of the top culinary spots in the city. Owned and operated by Jay and Margo, two incredibly hardworking and community minded individuals, Bad Dog isn’t just a business it’s a testament to what passion, perseverance, and ingenuity can build. While we may be competitors in the hospitality space, we at Brownstones hold deep respect for their grind. Jay and Margo have created something special that reflects not only their skill as operators but their authenticity as people. Their presence in the community goes far beyond their restaurant’s four walls, and their commitment to quality and consistency is something we can all admire. Sarnia is lucky to have Bad Dog at its downtown doorstep it's a true local gem. Brownstones Sports Lounge & Restaurant Supporting Local. Respecting Excellence.

Enjoyed a hot chocolate, burger, and fries.
I sought a burger joint, and this place fit the bill. Waitress was nice.

Super nice employees and delicious food !! Just wish the portion sizes were bigger, and I'd added avocado to my food, it wasn't ripe and was $3.00 :( but overall a good experience and would go back :)

I ordered the two pieces of fish with fries, came with Cole slaw and tartar sauce, for just under $20!
The portions were generous and the food delicious!! I’ll definitely make this my go to for take out fish & chips 😊
Bad Dog is a pretty good experience. We had a family lunch there. It has a clean and cheerful setting. The service was good. The draft beer was not cold when it arrived, which was a disappointment. But the food was good. I would go back and may try the second location.

Server was great! We went for drinks and they were cute and delicious!
Takeout sucks. Ordered a side of sweet potato fries with a meal. The lady placed an order for 3 side fries. Not sure why people that can barely speak English are taking orders over the phone . Called to complain about order after my wife had picked up food and they told me to just mention that they owe me sweet potato fries the next time we come in for food… there won’t be a next time. Bad dog used to be good but is trash now .
Second visit there and again truly disappointed in both the service and quality of food. Seems the management really doesn't care either. You really should pull up your bootstraps as there is a whole lot of competition out there. Do better BD.
Great location as well. Lots of parking across the road,;)
