I can not say enough positive things about this restaurant!!!! I found them through google for my wedding reception/meal and let me say we were not disappointed!!! From the first phone call for the reservation to paying the bill, Big Fish and Steak is the real deal for 5 star service. Now let’s talk about the food! I have never in my life had better. From such a diverse crowd at our reception everyone raved about how amazing the meal was! The food was beyond expectation not only on presentation but most importantly in flavour! Portions are beyond generous so go hungry. We had a private room that was so elegantly set up. Even with an additional guest they accommodated with no hiccup. The attentiveness of the staff we felt like the only people there. Thank you Big Fish and Steak for making our day so special! We already decided each anniversary will be spent celebrating with you!

Celebrated my 60th birthday with my husband. Lovely table by the window. We enjoyed fun cocktails and local beer. The scallops were delicious and juicy. We ordered the beef tenderloin and the fish of the day. Both huge portions and prepared perfectly. Plate presentation was impressive. Our wonderful server Ashley brought out a nice surprise treat for my birthday. She also made the most delicious Big Fish House coffees. Good, old fashioned special coffees made table-side. Fun to watch. Thank you to Ashley and Big Fish Steak & Lounge for making turning 60 a good thing! 😉 It was our first visit (we are new to the area), but definitely not our last! Cheers!

First time here. Everone that we ask about this restaurant all said the food was excellent. Just had to check it out. I do agree the food the attention that the server gave us was out of this world. Don't be afraid of the prices. It is worth every penny. Highly tecomend it. Don't forget to book your reservation. I shared escargo with my son. Thought of only having a couple but man that lemon sauce just made them so delicious. I couldn't stop at just a few. This is my go to restaurant for soecial occassion. Love the big fish and steak.

August 19, 2025 I had the chicken stir fry which was more like like a cabbage stir fry with a bit of rice some shredded carrots a couple of tiny pieces of broccoli and some chicken!!! Way better at Swiss Chalet where it's a proper stir fry!!! I don't know if it was the tomato soup or the cabbage stir fry but after a while I didn't feel good had to leave and when I got home and was sick I felt better
Fish and Chips were great! Wish there was more coleslaw. It was pretty tasty! Service was good and the setup was comfortable. Definitely would go back again!

Big Fish is for sure one of my go-to places for celebrations. I usually order the same thing (as per my photos). I've always had really good experiences here. One time the waiter punched in a 16 oz steak instead of the 10. We ended up getting the 16 for the price of the 10 which was awesome (and honestly a task to finish). Always recommend this place.
