I called the restaurant to ask about their recent deals and the person the phone was really rude and literally said he doesn’t have time to answer my questions and hung up the call. Very disappointed and never going back there.

Dave and I ate at Crabby Joe’s this evening. Dave had a BLT and fries and I had the ribs fries and had ordered a side Caesar salad. There was a misunderstanding about the menu and this was clarified by Emma. Later, there was an error made regarding the agreed-upon choices and Emma. Was proactive in correcting the problem satisfactory demonstrating good business practice. We encountered more than one assistant or server, but it was Emma with whom we had the most contact. Emma was pleasant, engaging, personable, sensible, knowledgeable, professional, and a good problem solver. Oh ya… And the food was excellent :-)

Food was horrible! Two full plates out of three where left on table. Everything comes right out of the freezer, chicken, fish,hamburgers nothing is fresh or worth eating 😋 . Good thing this restaurant is next to mcdonalds, your going to need to stop by on your way home for something else cus you will b HUNGRY!!!!!

Very dissatisfied with Crabby Joe's, went there last night around 4:30 stood at front waiting to be seated for about 10inutes finally went to bar area where the young girl was standing around,asked her if we just seated ourselves,yep was her response,my husband and I did so then waited another 10 minutes not a person in sight so we got up and left,to say the least we were very,very disappointed,went to Swiss Chalet and was treated very well with smiles all around.

Terrible service. An hour and a half in total in the restaurant with the server having 2 tables of 3 people. Took an HOUR to receive our main meal.
We went in on Sunday for a late lunch arriving just after 3pm. A large group left as we came and there were two other tables with 3-4 people each. The server came to take our drink order and took our food order when she brought back the drinks. Our starter arrived 10 minutes or so later. Then we sat and waited, and waited until after 4pm to get our main meal. We have a 4 year old and a 9 month baby to add. We received our food and had no cutlery. The servers significant other came in during this time and sat a table so we had to get another server to bring us cutlery because she was standing talking to him and didn’t care to check in on us. After we received our cutlery our server checked in 5 minutes after we started eating and did not return to the table until I asked another server to please send our server to the table to get our daughter her ice cream she had been waiting for as she had been done eating for 15-20 minutes. When our server arrived at the table we asked for ice cream, the bill and a take out container so we could leave. Very frustrating experience to watch this persons significant other come in, order his food about 15 minutes after us, receive his food 15 minutes before us, watch him eat and her eat while we hadn’t even received our food yet, he paid and left within 45-50 minutes. The server of course stopped to socialize with him for the majority of his stay and failed to provide adequate service to other customers in the restaurant. Will never return in the future.

I used to enjoy coming to this sports bar with friends, but one experience completely changed that. During a recent Leafs playoff game, our group was cheering respectfully and tapping the bar stand to show support, something we’ve seen and done many times at other games without issue.
Instead of kindly asking us to stop, the supervisor on shift, Amanda, approached us with immediate attitude, saying things like “all of you are incredibly disrespectful”. Despite that, we stayed calm and said we’d stop if it was a problem.
Shortly after, Amanda had our server bill us out early which was a clear sign she wanted us out. This was incredibly frustrating, as we were ordering drinks, respecting staff, and waiting for the food specials to start. It also unfairly put the server in a tough spot, since she provided great service and deserved tips that many of us now don’t want to do after receiving unfair treatment.
If Amanda is working, I’d recommend either requesting a different server or going somewhere else. The attitude we received was uncalled for and not what you expect from a place that promotes itself as a sports bar.
the atmosphere here is almost good, until you deal with Amanda, she is an awful person and doesnt like sports, for a sports bar you wouldnt think they would get mad about having some emotion well watching, unfortunately Amanda make sly comments and hate the sound of happy fans, on top of this if you hurt her ego by asking why making light cheers and celebrations for a playoff game is bad she gets hurt and tell you to leave. this really sucks because in the past its been a good experience and the poor server herself seems nice but the last handful of times, amanda has felt the need to put her input into personal conversations and is upset whenever anyone around her is happy because she frankly hates her job, hell she complained and got made at her own workers and even they looked annoyed with her since she never stops complaining. this may seem like its just hate and or an over reaction sadly i feel like im honestly being generous to her attitude.

Long time customers of this restaurant. Frequent visitors, very disappointed that Amanda kicked us out for lightly tapping on the hardwood bar when cheering for the Leafs. This is not a sports friendly bar. Friends and family choosing somewhere else to watch sports from now on.
Edit: We are not returning at all. Even just to eat. 5+ years of loyalty ruined in one night.

Since change of managment i have been back and service and food were much much better my original review is below
Waitress refused to get a high chair for my child server avoided our table like the plague took over 20 mins just to get refills on our drinks my food came out burnt when i finally was able to get some ones attention about it they blamed me for not telling them sooner even though i tried for a good half hour server also messed up my bill and forgot to ring in my friends food terrible food and even worse service i wont be back
