Food was delicious. Salmon lobster special. Our server, Mya, was an absolute delight to interact with. Mya was very attentive to our table of 4 women. She kept checking on us to make sure we were OK with drinks etc. Mya... Awesome meeting you, thank you for your wonderful service and best wishes to your future! Why the 3 stars on atmosphere? The atmosphere was awesome until an individual lit a pot cigarette . It stunk up the area. We were eating outside. Should be no smoking anywhere on the patio.

My husband and I had a truly wonderful experience. It is the holiday weekend, and we didn't have a reservation. Emily offered us to sit at the bar, which was great for us as we were facing the water and had the pleasure of watching Emily interact with everyone. The food and atmosphere was so good, and the added sweetness that Emily portrayed topped it all! We highly recommend the Grind. We will definitely return on our next visit to Sarnia.

My companion, Dave and I had dinner at The Grind last night. Dave had the chicken Parmesan and I had the gnocchi. Both were scrumptious. Laura was our server and she could not have been more sincere, personable, helpful, and efficient. I had ordered my dish with shrimp, and this was initially forgotten, and when Laura realized that she had forgotten to include the shrimp, (an understandable lapse of memory that anyone could experience at the end of a busy evening), she provided it at no charge. Now THAT is excellent customer service! We were also assisted by Mallory, who is a wonderful people-person, and who added to the pleasure of our evening. Dave and I sat at a table next to the kitchen where we were awed and entertained by the team work, organization and efficiency of the gentlemen preparing the food and where I also noticed their excellent food handling which added to my feeling of safety eating there. Dave and I intend to return to The Grind this weekend with some friends from out of town so that they, too, can experience the wonderful atmosphere, food, and customer service.

Had the Grind cater a wedding rehearsal dinner at our house last night. Opted for appetizer-style meal - food was excellent and John and Melissa were absolutely fantastic! Efficient and friendly - would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again! Thanks for a great night!

Very first time at this restaurant and will definitely be coming back! I had made Valentine's day reservations in early January as I have heard good things and didn't want to miss out. My wife and I have always talked about trying this establishment but we're a little chicken. Needless to say the staff are fantastic, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the food was top tier! The prices were amazing and we had no room for dessert as portions are generous. Highly recommend

I find this place to be very nice with friendly staff and delicious food. I’ve never had anything here that wasn’t outstanding and anyone I know personally who has been here has loved it. Makes for a nice evening out.
Food was amazing and tasted good and service were great as well. It is a small quaint restaurant.
The only complaint is that there was a group of 4 at a table that were very loud. They were on the other side of the restaurant and despite that, I was unable to have a conversation without elevating my voice to be heard, so we never talked that much because of that.

Ordered the Lemon pepper chicken wrap, such a disappointment, it had absolutely no lemon at all as well the checken was on on side completely dry and the rest of the ingredients were squashed on the other side of the wrap. There was no lemon aioli just a lot of mayonnaise. The soup that cane with it was lumpy pieces of broccoli and had the consistency of coloured water. Was not very pleased for $18. I feel like this was worth eight dollars would not recommend.

My wife and I hired the Grind to cater our wedding. We had a cocktail hour style wedding reception with the Grind catering some amazing apps. It was over the summer and people are still talking about the food! Melissa was super attentive, accommodating and easy to work with. I was definitely impressed and would highly recommend them. They went above and beyond to make our day a special one!

First time sitting down for a meal at Grind Catering and I was pleasantly impressed with it all. We showed up as a group of 20 guys for our year end soccer party which can definitely create a challenge for the waitress and the kitchen but the whole staff knocked it out of the park. We even needed another table and our server Jess didn’t hesitant to accommodate us. She also made sure that the drinks kept flowing out to our tables. The food was exceptional. I ordered Pad Thai and it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I also tried a bite of the Lamb Shank and wow that was unreal too! Overall it was a positive experience for myself as I don’t tend to eat out often because I’m very skeptical of what I get for the price I pay but everything from the food, service and price was spot on. Definitely will go back again to try another dish! I highly recommended!
