My husband and I ate dinner there last night for Feb 15, 2025 for Valentine's weekend. We stayed the night at the hotel and had booked dinner at their restaurant, Legacy. It was AWESOME. We ordered a shrimp appetizer and I had the steak and hubby had tuna. We also ordered a dessert and shared it. The atmosphere was so nice, and the restaurant itself was beautiful. Our server was Chloe, and she was likely the best server I have ever had...very attentive, regularly refilling coffee and waters, checking in on us when our food arrived etc. Very curteous and friendly. The food really was very, very delicious and came well presented. Have always had an awesome meal at Legacy, and again, this outing was exceptional. Love this restaurant.

Amazing just amazing! They placed our larger group in a spot where we could talk and laugh without disturbing others. The staff were alert to our needs for the entirety of the evening. Everyone in our company enjoyed the appetizers and entrees served. Great job Legacy! 😁
The service was outstanding. The waitress was polite, took our jackets, and checked on us just the right amount - not too much or too little. It was a wonderful dining experience that didn’t disappoint. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere made it an excellent choice for hosting colleagues in a professional setting.

We’ve been to legacy multiple times and it seems to get worse and worse each time. The food is not up to the price per plate - steak is chewy, pasta is severely under salted, fish is overcooked. The drinks often don’t make it to the table and when reminded they take forever as if we’ve somehow gone to the back of the queue and every dirty martini I’ve ordered has come back without any olive brine at all. The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the beautiful atmosphere.
First off, amazing service. Everybody is great. The restaurant is very elegant and has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Great for special occasions where you can dress up and feel fancy. The food is delicious and well priced. 10/10 experiences for me so far, can't wait to go back.

Went for their $47 Thanksgiving breakfast buffet. We had reviewed the menu prior to going so we had decent expectations of what we would have. It looked good "on paper". When we got to the buffet stations we saw that the "seafood station" was just ice cold seafood all pilled upon each other. Not appealing at all. We got the food items that looked ok and took it to our table. Everything but the duck, turkey and omelettes were ice cold (and the omelette was smaller than your palm, and browned). Eggs Benedict has a teaspoon of hollindaise. Mixed grilled vegetables ? Ice cold Salmon "entree" ? Ice cold Seafood ? Ice cold "Roasted potatoes"? Ice cold Gnocchi ? Ice cold mush
I was going to try the soup even though that's an odd breakfast option but we feared it too would be ice cold and we were already too chilled from the experience.
Save your money and go anywhere else. It's just the drawbridge inn made nice looking but it's still across from the Kenwick building and their bed bugs.

Excellent food prepared with careful attention to detail and served by staff who bring joy to your table. If you sit down and start wondering whether you have been transported to Toronto, you'll be right: the owner left the hassles of the metropolis for a quieter corner of the world. Sarnia, you are SO lucky!!
The other thing the owner brought along is his diverse taste in wine and his honest appreciation for the world class wines coming out of the Niagara Escarpment region.
Legacy is all of that. Right around the corner from the Sarnia marinas. Do not miss the chance to enjoy this Toronto-class restaurant tucked away near the Blue Water.
Have to give a shout out to the kitchen for being very accommodating of dietary needs. They'll take care of you!
