Navelli's European Delicatessen

I highly recommend their assorted subs let alone every other deli that they offer. Very, very good quality.

Bad service

Navelli’s is a true hidden gem here in Sarnia. Their Colossal Sandwich is fantastic—freshly sliced meats and cheeses, lots of flavour with a nice olive oil dressing, and such great value. The deli section has an impressive selection of Italian staples, charcuterie, and the best mortadella in town. The staff are super friendly and the customer service is top-notch. Highly recommend stopping by for a sandwich and stocking up on some treats. A+++!

If you need to show up to a party with the best appetizer, stop at Navellis on your way there! They have pre-made charcuterie towers that you can pick up from their deli counter. Warming - you may get distracted and influenced to buy everything else in the store.

I stopped in after visiting Northern Collegiate who hosted a football game in which my son played.

I had read some reviews about this place and the common thread was good sandwiches. I can say that is well-founded.

I ordered the colossal sub, and a traditional sub. The ordering process went smoothly. The construction of the sandwiches took a little time, however, I think that the meats were sliced to order. Perhaps they are presliced during rush times, which would make things quicker.

The flavours of the sandwiches were excellent. All sandwiches are available on sun buns or ciabatta bread, we chose subs. The bread was very fresh, pillowy soft, yet substantial enough to stand up to the meat and sauce on the sandwiches without falling apart.

The real gem was the depth and breadth of the higher end pasta selection. They have the base line of Dececco which is perfectly acceptable pasta, they also carry a very extensive line of La Molisana, but the higher end of their line, not the usual stuff you see on some supermarket stores. There is also a limited selection of artisanal pastas.

The rest of the market is pretty cool, lots of unique Western European goods. I didn't see much from eastern Europe. No matter. If you are looking for some diificult-to-find European items, give this place a look.

Great deli sandwiches made fresh

Not only do they have the best selection of European grocery items, they also have some of the best staff in the world!
I called from the States to see if they carried Greek honey for a friend who lives nearby to Navelli's who was ill. It works better than cough syrup! I explained why I asked for it (plus chamomile tea). The manager said they had it and put a jar aside for her. However, she was too ill to get it. So a friend came and got it for her. Much to our surprise, this is what was waiting for our friend when he came to pick up the items! How thoughtful us that?! I love shopping here when I'm in town, because they have great quality items as well as a great selection too. ?

Best place in town for sandwiches, and great selection of hard to find pastas and Italian cooking necessities

I had subs made up for 25guests. With a couple vegetarian subs thrown in. It was all delicious!! Staff at the store are all soooo helpful. Definitely they are on my list when I hold another event.

Got stuff to make 2 large pizza's and 2 fresh subs and dog treats all for under 50$ can't beat that
