Dropped in for Halibut and chips w coleslaw. First off the good... Fish cooked while you wait. Halibut piece was adequate and a bit over battered, but cooked perfectly and was hot and flakey. However although requested, no tartar sauce was in the take out bag :(. The chips (fries) were in a word: terrible! Tasted like fries warmed up from the fridge the night before. Shriveled and tasteless. Fries should be crispy and hot on the outside with a thick white tenderness inside. And who doesn't salt their fries out of the fryer before serving? Fries tasted old. The creamy coleslaw ($2) was good, but served in a tiny condiment container. Overall not great value for money.

This is the first time I have eaten at Perry's in over 25 yrs.Tonight I gave them a try.Tuesdays Special is 1 pc of Halibut and chips $17 + taxes.Good portions of both fish and chips. Batter was not too heavy over a thick piece of halibut.They have specials for each day they are open.Would recommend, it was a tasty meal for under $20!
