Was picking up a delivery around lunch only 2 people working, 1 of which was new. Not a lot of room as 6-8 people were waiting on food. Waited about 25 minutes, ended up leaving. The new guy had no idea what was going on, he almost gave the Pepsi delivery driver a bottle of Pepsi because he didn't understand a word the driver said. I feel bad for the poor girl working, she was running around like a chicken with their head cut off. Owner needs to hire competent staff whos trained correctly or staff more people during certain hours.

I've seen your adds for a few years and I finally got to try Shelbys this week. It didn't dissapoint.

Extremely Disappointing

I was really looking forward to trying Shelby’s after seeing some videos, but the experience was a complete letdown. I ordered a falafel wrap and a shawarma, and both were far below expectations.

The wraps were poorly made—the bread had a strange aftertaste with a noticeable bitterness, which ruined the overall flavor. It’s baffling why they don’t use authentic pita or khabus bread, which would have been much better.

The falafel was dry and lacked the vibrant flavor and texture you’d expect. It felt like it had been sitting out for a while, with no freshness at all.

The chicken in the shawarma was equally disappointing—hard, dry, and far from fresh. It was tough to chew and didn’t have the juicy, flavorful profile that makes a good shawarma.

With all the hype, I expected much better, but the food was mediocre at best and completely failed to deliver on quality. I won’t be returning or recommending Shelby’s based on this experience.

Parking: Lots of parking behind the building. Can get into parking lot from back street or front of building.

Kid-friendliness: Brought 3 yr old niece and she loved the food! Limited seating but space was available when we came.
