Nick and his crew went above and beyond our expectations with friendly and very helpful service. They catered for 75 people and the comments were that they all enjoyed their great tasting food and lots of it

the kitchen staff are great people and awesome food. Some of the wait staff are rude. Two waitresses tonight where complaining that myself and a few other tables didn't tip enough. I heard the one bill was 19 something they gave $2.50 tip. Myself mine wasn't much either and I'm not working so I told her to keep the change out of a $20. The other waitress said that I did that to her the other day. I believe tipping was my choice. I thought i was supporting local like the other two tables. Don't know if we will dine in anymore. Its not Perry or Nick's fault. See for yourself

I used to really enjoy coming here whenever I didn’t feel like cooking, but unfortunately, the customer service has gone downhill. I called to place a takeout order and spoke with an older woman on the phone who sounded very unhappy to be taking my order. I stayed polite, placed my order, and then the call was abruptly disconnected. No confirmation, no goodbye.
Assuming my order was placed, I drove across town to pick it up. When I arrived, I stood waiting for someone to acknowledge me. The cook noticed me and smiled, which I appreciated, but after waiting a bit longer, a waitress finally asked if I was there for takeout. I explained what happened, and she told me they hadn’t made my order and even claimed that I hung up on them. That definitely wasn’t the case.
At that point, I decided to leave without ordering. It’s disappointing to see how the service has changed here, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Breakfast was excellent! I love all day breakfast and Sophia's did not disappoint. The staff there is amazing! They are very friendly and the service was so fast that we only spent a total of 40min here. I really enjoyed my breakfast and I definitely recommend that you try the hash browns here they were delicious. The prices here are also very reasonable, especially for a home cooked style meal. The restaurant also feels cozy to me, which I like. I would definitely come here again next time I'm in Sarnia. If you haven't been here before, and you're thinking about checking Sophia's out, I would recommend that you go.

I have been wanting to go to Sophia's diner for the past year whenever I get a chance to travel to Sarnia. This week I finally had the chance to go.. and I was super impressed !! The food was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced for real home cooked meals. The server was friendly and answered all my questions. Their daily specials were really good. I ordered the Sunday special steak and it was delicious. Melted in my mouth. I've been to other steak restaurants and Sophia's was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. My partner ordered the fish and chips and the fish was also fresh not frozen. I would recommend Sophia's Diner to everyone ! I can't wait until I go back to Sarnia, because that's the first place I will be heading to for a fabulous meal!

The Turkey Special was amazing. It was fresh and hot on the plate. Came with stuffing and cranberry sauce. Mashed Potatoes and Gravy with sweet butter corn. & choice of dessert. I had the rice pudding but 2 other choices are available. Reasonably priced and worth the visit. Lots of food options available.

I hit up Sophia's mid afternoon with a friend and we were the only customers. The service was amazing, the cook was happy to make some adjustments to my order and the food was perfect. Cannot wait to go back.
However..... when I was walking through the parking lot to my car, an old man parked in a car across the street started yelling and waving at me. I walked faster. He started honking his horn at me. I got in my car, he got out of his and came toward me. Through a window open an inch, he said his name is Nick, he's the owner, and he wanted to know how the service was. I said everything was great and left. Nick went back to his car. Please tell Nick to stop accosting lone women in the parking lot. It's scary, and I don't need a side of anxiety attack with the amazing food.

Was craving a Turkey Clubhouse sandwich last week and I found the best place in Sarnia to get one, Sophia’s Diner! Fresh, home style ingredients, and the fries and gravy were delicious too! I absolutely recommend eating at this nice little Diner, the food is terrific and service was excellent!
