One of my favourite restaurants to go but I recently tried their new steak and eggs. I ordered it medium rare it came Grey and well done. I informed the server and she asked what else I wanted instead because that's the only way the cook can cook it and it would just come back the same way. The server admitted it shouldn't even be on the menu. Please don't advertise steak and eggs if the cooks can't make a medium rare steak.

This is our usual go to breakfast place so uncomfortable to complain but the prices for some items, when considering the quality, are a bit high. Case in point ... a grilled cheese $9.95! Really? We really like all the servers ... they work hard.

Expensive and overcooked food. Under staffed/ not a good balance of service.

Tired of getting nickle and dimed. Just add the cost of the small stuff into your food cost. Will not be returning.

I used to come here with my Nanny all the time for a good warm meal. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and the servers are amazing. I have not been here in a couple years but when I used to go all the time the food was always so delicious!

I been to the restaurant for their friday fish & chips, for the last 3 months, and the coleslaw is awful, I try each time thinking they would improve it, and the mayo and sweet relish for the fish was again awful, please improve on the small things, and it would be fantastic meal!

I think that Village Garden’s is very under estimated in terms of all the Diners in Sarnia. Their Eggs Benedict is absolutely delicious and there is a decent quantity for what you pay for. Speaking of paying, they are still relatively cheap for their selection.

absolute zero

Food was definitely filling (meat lovers boat) , but hashbrowns felt just so-so.For the start of a day, I guess the service could have been a bit more cheerful ?

I just want to start off by saying, that the food is decent most of the time. I just want to point out how disgusted I was with the customer service I received here. I had informed the sever that I was collecting the rewards. I informed the server that I was eligible for a free two egg meal, but instead of allowing me to claim it; she cashed me out at full price. This server absolutely does not know how to treat customer's right. I work in customer service at a well known pizza establishment and this person should not be working here, or in any restaurant for that matter. I seriously hope the owner reads this review, because this individual is quite literally destroying the atmosphere of this business and the want to eat here.
