Realize that tastes vary among people, but in my flavour palette this is one of the best coleslaws in town! ?

Expensive ($40 for 2 single fish dinners). Good halibut but fish portion is very small with lots of fries. The old guy here (owner I think) is quite arrogant, waited 15 min longer than he said, then was short with me instead of apologizing for making me wait.

I have never eaten in house. Always take out/pickup. Absolutely best fish an chip in town! Lil pricey for family perhaps but worth the splurge!

the food is usually great when dining in but I have to say that during recent times, the take-out service has been poor! There have been several occasions when you get the food home and the chips are almost cold! It's not cheap so you can see why I'll b looking elsewhere for takeout food from now on!!

I’ve been eating the fish since I could remember. My parents gave me the best of memories as has The Wharf. Obviously with the pandemic it’s been rough on everyone, but I’ve continued to support as I think my cravings get the best of me ?. Kudos to Will, his wife for always having extremely polite and caring staff. Also such delicious fish and I swear the best onion rings around.Your Drive through window is the most convenient and I’ve been using for years already! Keep up the continued service for Sarnia as so many appreciate you and our bellies need you fish ?

Had time for a quick lunch and a hankering for fish & chips. Not being familiar with Sarnia, I did a google search. The Sarnia Wharf Fish & Chips was quite close to our location. When I pulled found the site, I was hesitant. Not much curb appeal. I then noted that only take-out was available. Throwing caution to the wind, I pulled up to the take-out window. My order was taken and I was directed to park with the promise that my order would be brought out to me promptly. It was and I can say without reservation that this was the best halibut that I have ever eaten including that offered by Britain's famed outlets.
I tried the lunch special and it was a great deal with a huge piece of tasty fish with your choice of light or regular breading and awesome fresh cut fries like you'd expect from fish and chips. Served piping hot and everything was carefully wrapped and packaged.

I guess it would have been easier for everyone if i had ordered my food online but i didn't and the staff were very patient with me and so i was with them, it was a good experience and i will definitely go back. Many fish and chip places simply forget about the chips, it's HALF your name! Why serve me the best fish but then insult it by pairing it with frozen french fries no better than the ones i can make at home? I'll never understand why so many do this. Happily this is NOT one of those places. I had the battered halibut and it was crunchy and very tasty, and a reasonable price and a decent size. The chips were excellent as well and the only thing I might like to have seen on the menu was "mushy peas" but i understand they are not that popular. Thank you for the great fish and chips and whenever i get a hankering for them i will definitely come back!
