“When I lived here, I used to go here for lunch at least once a week. Now I live in Oregon but I do come here at least once per visit. They serve consistently good food. I have noticed a teensy dip in quality but not quantity. In fact, their shrimp portion was very generous. I ordered the Tai Schezwan with fried rice, medium hot. Yum! I'd have given it a four because the sauce wasn't hot enough and a bit thicker than normal, but I just don't think the other reviews were fair. If you want reliably good food, stop here. I've always cleaned my plate and always look forward to my next visit. Their egg drop soup is so plain but oh so good!“

“I came here last Saturday to try out the dinner buffet, I was not at all disappointed.
I was greeted by a kind old lady who quickly ushered me to a table, and a mix-up between the staff resulted in me receiving two glasses of water, lol.
The food was well-cooked, seasoned well, and overall great. I had my fill of the pepper steak, mushroom/beef, and the spicy chicken wings were especially enjoyable . There was a decent selection as well, about 2 stations worth, as well as the dessert (Some cakes, jello, watermelon and cantelope) and salad bar which were meager but they were there. I won't lie though, the buffet is a lot smaller than what you'll probably see abroad.
The service was quick and the server checked up on me often. The crowd was definitely on the older side, many evidently having been coming there for years. There was much banter and chat between long-standing guests and the staff. This resulted in a very much relaxed and fun environment to enjoy a good meal.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will be returning to the Golden Dragon. Thank you.“
