“I came here last Saturday to try out the dinner buffet, I was not at all disappointed.

I was greeted by a kind old lady who quickly ushered me to a table, and a mix-up between the staff resulted in me receiving two glasses of water, lol.

The food was well-cooked, seasoned well, and overall great. I had my fill of the pepper steak, mushroom/beef, and the spicy chicken wings were especially enjoyable . There was a decent selection as well, about 2 stations worth, as well as the dessert (Some cakes, jello, watermelon and cantelope) and salad bar which were meager but they were there. I won't lie though, the buffet is a lot smaller than what you'll probably see abroad.

The service was quick and the server checked up on me often. The crowd was definitely on the older side, many evidently having been coming there for years. There was much banter and chat between long-standing guests and the staff. This resulted in a very much relaxed and fun environment to enjoy a good meal.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will be returning to the Golden Dragon. Thank you.“

“Hong Kong has been the go to restaurant for our family for decades! My husband remembers going often with his family at age 7! The food is excellent and in our opinion the best Chinese food in town! Yesterday we had take out and it was the same as ever, no disappointments! The service was great and very accommodating with a food allergy request! We do very much miss the dine-in experience and hope they will be able to reopen the dining room soon! The wanton soup tastes better with Chinese ceramic spoons ??

Dietary restrictions: Although, there were a few options for gluten-free diet, it would be even better if there was a gluten free gravy sauce option so more dishes could be possible for the customer.“

“Shogun Sushi is by far the best and only All You Can Eat Sushi Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant especially if you're a fan a Sushi or Japanese food as they have a good selection of that as well.“
